We rented a room with king-sized bunk beds. The room was very nice and comfortable. There was some traffic noise, but the hotel provided free ear plugs if they were needed. I didn’t need them, I was recovering from the flight over and slept for 11 hours. Breakfast had a good selection and was quite tasty. The staff were very helpful and were able to answer all of my questions.

We loved this hotel. It is centrally located, great staff, and very comfortable and clean room. We usually worry that the beds aren't big enough to accommodate my 6'4'" husband and growing 14 year old son, but the Studio Six was great. I highly recommend it for families. It had two big beds (bunk type with plenty of head room) and a pull out couch.

We spent one night at this hotel and found it very convenient and pretty. It's close to several tours (whale-watching, etc.) and near a fun burger place. The room was nice, and the common areas in the hotel are excellent. The only drawback was the bathroom -- the sliding door doesn't close all the way, and it's right next to the bed, so it's noticeable if someone gets up during the night. Otherwise a great experience.

Nice location; close to center, restaurants and marina; If you want a larger room or a room with a view, make sure you dont get the standard room; the standard room is very small with no view; but all the upgraded rooms are nice

I booked a king sized bed room but when I got there, staff said I was upgraded to an attic room which had a queen sized bed. The attic room had a balcony, which i am not sure all the rooms had. I would have preferred a room with king sized bed without balcony. I wouldn't consider this an upgrade as online prices for attic was the lowest. Other than that, nice and clean room with lots of outlets. Clean Bathrooms with great amenities. L'occitane products.

We arrived early and were offered an upgrade to the Residence @ Icelandair Marina. Beautiful, fully appointed apartments w/ small fridge and great coffee machine(free). great bathroom layout with fantastic toiletries. T.V.'s in L.R. and Bedroom allowed us to keep different schedules without disturbing each other. breakfast buffet included w/ room was very good but I've yet to find a hotel in Iceland that will make eggs to order, a pet peeve of mine since I'm really not a muesli man. There was a couple of different items each day on the buffet. We chose a very interesting option to forego daily housekeeping for a couple of days to receive vouchers which we then used to have an extra nice brunch buffet on saturday and sunday in lieu of the breakfast buffet those mornings. The US$38 ea. brunch was free w/ the vouchers when combined with the credit of the included breakfast. Served from noon till 3pm. Free wine beer and soda from 5-6pm with snacks nightly along with numerous fireplaces and quiet alcoves scattered throughout made this place feel like a very private boutique hotel.

We just stayed the one night. Room was wonderful; clean & bed was amazing. Close to all you need; food, drinks, shopping.

extremelly difficult to bring in luggage., no parking, no help

It is right on the water and so nice. Great view. Very cute hotel that looks modern and yet cozy. The cafe is a lovely place for tea or coffee in the morning.

Highly recommend this hotel, bring Only one complaint: We arrived early, and they did accomadate us for an additional $30.00. However they would not swap the pre-paid breakfast, we missed due to leaving the hotel at 2:00am our last night, with the breakfast we ate the morning of our early arrival. That first breakfast cost an additional 60.00. As a consolation they had ready for us two "grab bags" pre-prepared for our 2:00am departure. However the both the juice, water, and yougart did not make it pass airport security. The sandwich was great like all the food they served, be it breakfast lunch, or dinner. My hat is off to the staff that procure and prepare this hotel's produce!

Awesome hotel very clean everywhere you look whether your in your room the lobby restaurant Bathrooms in the lobby I mean everywhere and close to everything is within walking distance I seriously would recommend to family and friends

We just loved this hotel - but always request a room on the harbor side! the street side was VERY loud - and hot in the summer as we were unable to open the windows very much.

Close to the Marina and within walking distance of Cruise Ship dockings. Also within walking distance of Old Town Reykjavik. Unfortunately even from the marina side of the hotel, a view of the harbor is blocked by ships in dry dock which are being repaired.

An example of the perfect location is on one day of my trip I had just finished a long hike(Mount Enja just 30minutes by car), got back to the hotel, was laying on the comfortable bed looking at the activity guide provided by the hotel, and 10minutes later I was on a speed boat looking for whales. This hotel is located at the marina making it perfect to walk out the door to excursions such as bike or walking tours of the city, bike rentals and whale watching. Also the harbor walking path is right there. The decor is fun and modern, beds very comfortable, well appointed gym with a little climbing wall for kids. The lobby seemed like a destination itself with foosball, books, comfortable sitting places.

We stayed here with our two kids and loved it! Great location, the room was so fun with the double bed bunkbed (I think they have multiple room configurations - the one we were in had a double bed bunk). Would highly recommend!

nice hotel, helpful staff. no early check in available.

Nice hotel with unique character. Easy walking distance to waterfront and city centre

This hotel is a very good value. The first floor turns into a hot spot at night time with a DJ and a lot of comfy seating. You can't hear any noise in your room (at least we couldn't but we were on the third floor). The bartenders and all other staff were extremely nice and helpful. Prices at the bad are very high so I would go somewhere else for dining (although the cocktails and appetizers that we tried were very very good). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel based on the close proximity to the downtown and friendly staff.

The hotel is on the harbor and had amazing views from the balcony. Not all rooms have a balcony or a view, so watch for what you book. I was happy to find that the town of Reykjavik truly was a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The rooms are efficient and small, but that is common in Iceland. It was a really nice surprise that they used L'Occitane shampoo, conditional, and shower gel, they were mounted on the walls in the shower. I want to buy some after using it! The check-in process was quick. Iceland is very expensive, so be prepared!

The maids left our door open and unlocked while we were out
