The check-in process was confusing. They only do check-in at 16:00, though the listing indicates it is 14:00. I arrived at the location and I thought the hotel was shut-down, since the place was dark and nobody was there. The furniture was cheap. My queen bed oddly had only 1 pillow, and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom had some insects in it, and there was nobody to complain to, as there is nobody to attend to guests. The shower (not the sink) had a strange smell to the water. Finally, I felt the property was just a bit neglected. I realize we are in a pandemic, but these issues cannot simply be written off because of the pandemic.

The water had a strong sulfur odor that I had only encountered once before in Iceland in Reykjalid at Lake Myvatn. Whatever system they used for the water made a god-awful noise every few seconds while taking a shower and each time I used the sink or flushed the toilet. The hallway had an odor -- probably from the smell of the water. Parking was limited and tedious. I had to pull up to the garage door then get out of the car, run up to the lobby, then down a flight of stairs into the garage to press the garage door opener, then get back into the car and enter the garage. Breakfast was fine. The location was good. Though I paid for three nights (non-refundable), I only stayed one night and found another hotel a couple of blocks further from city center. It's fine if you're on a budget, but I wanted something a little better for this trip to Iceland.

The property was a short walk from the harbor which had a great view of the sunset. There were a number of food options within a block in any direction, and the bus stop was right around the corner.

This is a hostel with shared bathrooms, there are no private bathrooms anywhere in this hotel. Rooms are tiny and beds are uncomfortable. Windows are facing main street so bring earplugs. Reception is closed from 11pm till 8am. Breakfast is only served starting at 7am. Basically if you are taking any tours at all, you will not be able to get breakfast because tour pickup is either right at 7am or earlier or on the other side of town. Location of this hotel is actually 20 min walk from the center area. Do not stay here.

It was a good hotel in a great location (only 10-15 minute walk to shops). The room was comfortable and the shared bathroom was not a problem as we never had to wait for anyone. The free parking was a great addition; however, the elevator was not working and the overall building was untidy.

Hotel smell, room door was not working and elevator was out of order it took 2 days to fix. Staff was ok and breakfast was not good same thing everday.

The staff was nice and helpful. All else was terrible. The room was mechanically derelict. The towel rack was broken and missing. The shelf above the sink was bent so badly that things slid off and crashed in the sink. The water pipes hammered. The water stunk of sulfur. The hot water pipe in the shower was uninsulated and so hot you could easily get burned. The rooms were brutally warm due to no ventilation. The location was on a noisy street.

Very cute hotel, close to #10 bus stop. Comfortable beds. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Very good free breakfast also! Would definitely stay again!

Fridge was dirty, water on the shelf. It was turned off.

Very well located, clean and in a safe area. It is great if you only want to sleep there. It has breakfast included and the tours pick you up just around the corner.
