Ancient facility. No elevator. Rusted staircases. Exterior entrances to rooms. Very 1970's. Better options available.
Holiday weekend hotel rates are a supply and demand operation. Raising the rates does not raise the amenities. Pro travel tip. Do not travel on holiday weekends if it can be avoided.
I've stayed at this LaQuinta many times. It's usually clean and quiet and I feel safe and comfortable there. This time however, the bathtub was pretty dingy and dirty. When I turned on the water, only the hot water worked; the cold water knob just spun around and no water came out. The scalding hot water made it impossible to take a shower. I'm guessing the cleaning staff had the same problem which would explain the dirty tub. I notified the desk at check out and they apologized, but it seems like this problem should have been addressed prior to renting the room.
Exterior of building needs work, broken concrete steps. Wood needs paint. The interior of our room was excellent. Would sta Y here again
I've stayed at this hotel before and was very happy. This time, however, I had a room facing the freeway. It was very noisy. In this room, the beds were old- they had divots on each side with a high spot in between, and they made noise when you got in and out. The pillows were very lumpy- it was hard to get comfortable. The room was clean and the staff was nice.
The staff was very nice. The hotel is very dated and needs a facelift. But otherwise good for the price.
Pet friendly, spacious, very easy to find, lots of parking, inexpensive
Desk person was rude and not helpful when I called to ask about shuttle from airport. I wanted to know if shuttle would be available when my flight was scheduled to arrive about 10:30PM. She just kept repeating that the driver goes home at 11:00PM. Since the hotel is 5 minutes from the airport it seemed possible I could still ride the shuttle but she never gave a clear answer and finally said to get a cab. It might be useful for hotel to know when I and another female customer did call a cab he refused to take us because it was not a profitable fare since hotel is close to airport. That left 2 women late at night trying to walk and find the hotel carrying luggage. Did I mention I am 72 and had been in transit from Europe for over 30 hours?
Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Conveniently close to airport.
Just bad from beginning to end. It does however have that good old down home crack house feel to it.
We paid way more then I would normally pay for this hotel because of lack of hotel choices. Overall this is an average hotel and not worth more then $50.
It is a good choice anyway. No resort fee. Will come back.
We went to a conference at the Peppermill resort, which unfortunately was booked (and it cost over $150/night, a bit high for us). So we went looking for a good place close by, and La Quinta was the best deal we could find. They did not disappoint: good free breakfast included, free WiFi, close to other restaurants, right next to the freeway - all you could expect from a good value hotel. If you're in the area and don't want to spend that much for a good place, this is the place for you.
When you need a hotel near the airport... this one is fine. I'm not sure what else to say about it.
I liked the room. Was kinda of disappointed about the lack of breakfast . Other LaQuintas have a variety of things to eat. But it was nice to see the waffles. Other than that no complaints. Would stay again
Convenient location, semi-friendly staff, great bed, clean enough, ok complimentary breakfast.....whole place needs updating....all in all though, a pretty good value....just felt I needed to keep my flip flops on while in my room.
The staff was friendly and efficient! We stopped last minute and glad we stopped here! We will be back!
End of family trip, flying out in the morning. Hotel was conveniently near airport entrance. Room was very clean and comfortable. Only squawk was a somewhat liberal use of air freshener, but fresh air from the open door solved that.
Quick check in and close to the strip. Staff made check in painless and room was as described. Morning breakfast included.
One of the best values around for a good clean room. Comfortable bed and a good tub for soaking. Comes with free Wi-Fi, breakfast and newspaper! I didn't need to interact with the staff much, but the check-in was fast and pleasant. The highway noise was a little louder than I prefer, but didn't stop me from sleeping well.
