We had to change the room right the way because it smelled like people had been smoking inside. We got a different room that smelled as bad as the first one. The smoking smell is on the hallways as well Disgusting place.

My husband and two toddlers stayed here one night to get away for a weekend. Checking in went well and the front desk clerk was nice. The room seemed nice walking in UNTIL we started unpacking and using things. The frig’s fan was frozen solid and you saw how dirty the ice was. The bed I was in had a blood stain on it… which is really gross. Other than that, it was really quiet and the beds were decent, pillows were flimsy with no support and when we set the air to 70, it somehow would not maintain that temp, causing me to check it periodically throughout the night. For $110, I guess I got what I paid for. Won’t be staying here again unless I don’t have a choice.

The best, most comfortable and reasonable stay in Durham. Dining options are somewhat limited, but if you'e driving that's not an issue. Really very very good value for the price.....

I will never stay at this location again. When I first got there it took the person working there forever to come out to the front desk. Once he got all of my information he gave me my room key and sent me to a room on the second floor. When I opened the room door there was an ironing board at the door with a rag and paint cans everywhere. They were obviously working in that room. I went back downstairs and waited for him to come back out to the desk again and told him what happened so he apologized for my inconvenience and sent me to a room on the third floor. I got to that room and the room was not clean. There was hair under the blanket, on the carpet by the bed and wall and it looked like someone had some kind of fluids dried up on the lamp switch. Crumbs and dust in the drawers…burn marks all in the sheets. I was so frustrated bc I was by myself in an unfamiliar area for a doctor appt at Duke. The window to the room would not lock so needless to say I didn’t get all a lot of rest that night and the atmosphere just felt off. I do have pictures if anyone from the hotel want to reach out to me. I would 10/10 not recommend!
