Though the staff was friendly and helpful, the building was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. The ice machine was broken on my floor and the clean sheets were piled in the corner of the hallway. Sheets on bed had a strange stain. Room included a refrigerator but it turned out to only work as a freezer. The continental breakfast was sufficient and included waffles, coffee, oatmeal, fruit, and cereal. Lobby was deceptively clean compared to the actual lodging. Good location, walking distance to downtown. However, for only $20 more a night, I spent the rest of my trip at a beautiful high rise Holiday Inn a few blocks closer. For a place to crash, the Days Inn will do. But if you're looking for quality and comfort, spend a few extra bucks elsewhere.
