2nd time I've stayed here, would have stayed longer, but price went way up for weekend.
This should be the standard hotel for Orbitz. Clean, quiet enough, a 10 minute drive to a ok restaurant, all in all, a good value for the price.....
The noise was excessive due to the very busy road right outside my room. But the biggest issue I had with the property was the pet fee. $75 non-refundable is REALLY EXCESSIVE. Also, this is not advertised on the Orbitz site.
TERRIBLE from the point of arrival! The entire floor smells of cigarettes. Myself and other customer that arrived complained to the front desk and they offered to change the room but that did nothing! Since I booked through Orbitz the front desk was not being helpful. We bought the travel insurance so we will see what Orbitz can do to refund and secure another hotel. The rating for this hotel (of you want to call it that) is very misleading. We will not stay here again and suggest you don’t either of you can help it!
No frills hotel. However, it was very clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Pool is a bonus
The hotel is nice. The staff is friendly, the pool, and the rooms were clean. However, they charged my card several times every night I was there (four). every morning at 3:00am the night clerk charged my card random $ amounts over $100. The ad claims free breakfast every morning. However, they only set up coffee. There is NO restaurant and bar, although it is advertised.
Check in clerk was very pleasant. Pool closes at 9 pm which is very early for summer months. NO BREAKFAST where they actually have ample dining facilities. Stains on the carpet in my room, broken curtains, no microwave in the room. Will update review after stay if any other inconveniences occur. Was told that this particular Sonesta is independently owned.
The room, I was given on 3/11/23 smelled of horrible and cigarettes, carpet was stained, toilet was filthy, etc. on 3/12/23 I was given another room which was better. Overall not a safe or clean place for the price .
Safe enough and friendly staff.
Had our first horrible experience at a hotel. In the morning we had to kill a roach, the shower drain barely worked, the trash did not have trash liners, so we had to use our own trash bags. Toilet paper we’re not restocked when we arrived. The hotel phone wasn’t working. Thankfully Orbitz has contact info for us to reach out. When contacting the hotel, I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes and then was hung up on. The person over the phone was not very pleasant and made the stay very uncomfortable. We just tried to see if they would do anything to fix all of the mishaps that we’ve experienced to prevent any other customer from going through what we just went through. I strongly advise others to not book at this hotel.
