The view is awesome. You literally walk out of backyard gate and the whole lake is right in front of you and the beach is right there. House is clean, kitchen is well equipped, and it's really comfortable. The place is easy to find and the owner is quick to respond. If you're thinking about getting this place for a beach trip, it's worth it.

Great location, nice backyard. Faucet was hanging off bathroom wall in shower. Need to fix that. Place was fine for outdoor activities. Beach right diwn tbe street was nice.

Very neglected and unhealthy property. The photos and reviews are deceiving. The house is moldy, filthy and infested with insects. The smell is unbearable. The outdoor space was overgrown and unusable. Do not book this property. Total bait and switch.

Perfect Location

Couldn't have asked for a better place for our visit to Racine. We appreciated the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the home. The host was always available to answer questions, I felt like if anything needed to be taken care of, it would be. Our dog loved the outdoor area! Thank you.

We stayed for one night since we had a nearby reservation and were coming from Chicago. Location was terrific and we wanted to keep it mind for future booking in the summertime given the proximity to the beach. Really large yard was a plus and accommodations were in nice shape!

Love the location. It does need a few adjustments though.

Location was good. I would change a few things. There is no table and chairs and it is a 3 bedroom home. We couldn't have a sit down meal with our friends. We would really like to stay there again. If there was a small table or even a card table with chairs in the closet, it would be so much better for us. We are in our 70's and the low couch and no grab bar in the bathroom was a bit of an issue. We really like the place and would love to stay there again. The hosts were super!!

Great Place to Stay

A friend & I decided to participate in a crank-in for circular sock knitting machines. We booked this place. Her husband decided to join us. We never had to leave Racine. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops. My friends took their bikes and enjoyed riding along the beach (which is so close to the house). We would definitely stay here again.

Good but had ants

I really liked the host- they were very very kind. & the yard was perfect for our dogs(fully fenced in)…. However there was no king size bed(which is a preference of mine) & there was a big ant issue in the kitchen. Spoiled alot of our food & our dogs food which was majorly disappointing… location was great, you can see & walk to the water in no time. I feel like this house would be great in summer

Lake Michigan retreat

Wonderful little house with view of North Beach and access to everything. A perfect location for beach glass pickers to run up and down the lakeshore, beautiful parks and beaches as well as shopping, craft fairs, Milwaukee, outlet malls and the airport. Highly recommend.

Diamond in the ruff

This cozy little house is steps from the beach. Nice big yard to sit in. The unfortunate part was we made reservations back in August for an October stay. Four (4) days before our stay we get a call from our host who owns the house that VRBO triple booked the house so now we have to scramble around a find a new place. VRBO never called us or helped us. We called VRBO and had to hold more than 1/2 an hour and still no answer. If it was not for the host calling and vigorously helping us find another date that was available at the same house we would have been out of luck. The host bent over backwards for us. We feel VRBO was very irresponsible in this matter. I give the host a 5 star and VRBO a 1 star….
