I called the front desk to report the air conditioning not working, I called several times, and they kept telling me, someone was on the way to fix the damn ac, but no one show up, next morning I when to the front and complaint about air conditioning not working and they finally switched us to another room, but it took them 2 days to finally get to us, they really dont care for their customers, I will defenely NOT come back to the hotel

We had not so big expectation from this hotel. It was my birthday and we choose it because it had a window (a lot of colonial building are not having a proper window) and because it seems to be modern enough. It was like we expected to be, ever worst because: at the reception they were not speaking English, we spoke some Englispanish to them; the junior suite room was not projected to be comfortable, a lot of doors, a ventilator for wc that continued to work all night long, no ventilation for the shower (they have separate rooms for wc and shower); the cleaning in the room was so well made and at 9 in the morning they stress us with making the room -limpieza, but they provide water and toiletries every day ; the breakfast was rich but not so well organised: a queue for entering, a queue for having an omlette, and eventually a queue for taking the food. I suppose you need to go early for having space and eat relaxed the breakfast. After all our experience was average and maybe they did their best (they were nice to let a slice of a cake for my birthday).

I stayed for 7 days in this hotel. Room is acceptable for space but there is no wall between room and toilet/bathroom. They have very bad internet connection which is lost the connection at least 2 times per night. Also employees doesnt care about your comments. I told them twice i dont want anyone in my room but they still get inside in my room when I'm outside. Even when i use the label that typing "do not disturb" they took it on my door.

Check in took 25min. Price from Booking.com was not granted at first. Rooms very small, hygiene medium at best. Lamp on night stand gets piping hot - beware. Breakfast typical low standard Mexican. Location central.

The room for the price is a great option. Although not in the heart of the historic district you are across from the city park and a 10 minute walk to the main sites. One concern I would raise is the walls are pretty thin. There were a group of traveling students on my floor who kept going late into the night. The front desk tried to deal with them but their voices carried through the halls. Assuming that's an exception, and you'd be unlucky to have a similar group on your floor, I'm not sure it would be a train not to stay here.

I was here with my husband and 13 other people on a pilgrimage to Mexico and this was one of the places we stayed at. This was a nice hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We ate breakfast here and enjoyed it. Lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices as well as delicious breads. There’s also a made to order egg line as well as a hot buffet area. Dining room was very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and appreciated the 2 bottles of water daily for teeth brushing (most tap water in Mexico is not potable). I would gladly return and have no problems recommending it.

Stayed for few nights, the standard room are very small, got upgraded to a room with 2 beds and a small balcony with a view of a busy street, the room has very strange layout with 2 small separate cubicle for shower and loo and a sink on the side of the bed. The place has a bad small (think they have serious drain problem) The restaurant is below average for a 4 star hotel, bad WiFi and not very good customer service.

The Hotel Real Alameda in Queretaro is in a great location near the historic central city (a UNESCO World Heritage site) It was an easy walk from the hotel to many of the attractions in the city center. It was also possible to take city and local tours from the hotel. The hotel is located across the street from a beautiful park. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations but it will be a very interesting place to walk around when the renovation is completed. The breakfast buffet was good with a variety of foods items and the items changed from day to day so there was variety. There was also a station for omelets or eggs prepared to your order. I really liked the staff at the hotel; the front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance people were great. They were all very pleasant and helpful even though the hotel was short of staff. At the front desk Miguel really stood out for his professionalism and great customer service skills. He spoke English which was very helpful in explaining the tours and he was just all around helpful. Only thing that was disappointing was the wifi, it was sometimes spotty. I hope they will work on that. Nonetheless, I will come back to this hotel in the future. It was a great experience for me.

Positives - clean rooms, decent breakfast, pleasant staff. Negatives - swimming pool freezing and not very clean; wifi rubbish; rooms nice but offer no privacy. For example, we had a room with 2 double beds for us and our kids but there was literally nowhere to get changed in private because of the room design. Shower opens straight out onto bedroom, sink is not separate etc. Wasn't a big issue for us but might be for others. Overall, we felt the hotel was pricy for what was on offer.

We stayed for two nights. It was recently remodeled but the rooms are small. We stayed in a junior suite that would regularly be the size of a normal room. It's sort of like the size of a European room. Small bathroom small toilet area. The service was good. It's ok for a one night stay.
