Beautiful colonial type hotel, rooms are kept clean, and has a restaurant.

Todo perfecto, excepto el olor de humedad en la habitación

Hotel was clean. A little noisy after 11 pm stay. Front desk could have been friendlier and definitely need valet parking.

Hotel was clean. Room was clean "newly renovated", bathroom was tiny (open door, step into shower, close door), there was one small window opened to courtyard and no screen to keep out flies, mosquitoes or any critters. There was a ceiling fan but no AC or heating unit. Food in restaurant was good, however, did not provide priority to guest to eat vs walk-in (had to wait in line)

They were able to accommodate an early check in with no extra fee after we were dissatisfied with another nearby hotel. Staff were great and the rooms are very modern, clean, and comfortable!

Great location & comfy beds. We paid extra for a balcony but worth it for the view and fresh air...a little noise from street but not bad. Hotel has restaurant name La Llave with good food and prices. Definitely will stay here again

Location location ! Is around the corner of tours, restaurants ,downtown . Just remodeled the rooms It wad the first hotel in Queretaro!!!! A Gem!!!

Excellent location in the center of many cultural events.

This hotel was the first in Queretaro and it is in the history books as Mexican presidents had stayed there. The hotel has a restaurant in the courtyard and the smell of food filters into the rooms (which I did not liked). The rooms were clean but simply decorated. We needed extra pillows because the beds were not the most comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice and recently renovated. There was noise in the late hours of the evening as city legend tours stop at the hotel lobby. There was at least three tours with about 20 people each as late as 11:00pm. The location of this hotel is excellent and close to everything in Queretaro. The hotel rate was pretty good for its location. I would most likely stay at this hotel again.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. There is a great restaurant there (I recommend the arrachera molcajete). It's location is great to explore the historic downtown area of queretaro without having to take cabs etc. now here is why I did not give it a better rating... I was traveling with a friend and booked for 2 people, and we got a room with one bed. I wasn't asked if two beds were needed (which they do have for a higher rate), but we were only there for one night so it wasn't terrible. There was only one power outlet in the room (also one in the restroom) so we had to alternate charging electronics and the outlet was high up behind the tv. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, but the room felt more like it was for one person. Another bad thing was that after a certain time the hotel doors are shut and locked, so if you are coming back from a bar after 2 am, you have to knock on the door and hope that the reception hears it. I'm a smoker and the entire hotel is a non smoking property, and after returning late at night I wanted to smoke a cigarette before bed. I asked the front desk attendant to let me out to smoke a cigarette and he was friendly and polite, but instead of leaving the door open just while I smoked, he shut it back and locked it while I smoked. I was done and he must have forgotten I was out there because I had to knock on the door for a while until he finally came back to open it. You get what you pay for.

The hotel is close to the downtown for one day is ok but if you are thinking on a relaxing hotel check few more options
