I loved the space in our room and was very happily surprised at having a living room and kitchen for our two bed accommodations. I did not like the musty smell upon entering the room, although the room was spotless and very clean. Wished we had regular TV, also, with some world news.

I loved this property.... but i would have liked to have stayed at the Hotel Acadia instead of Lermitage. I dnt know i think this hotel is haunted.

The hotel is very convenient, bathrooms are clean and bed is comfortable BUT... A warning: the rooms vary GREATLY from the pictures online. We booked a superior room in the Acadia building (there are 3 buildings). it is a 4 floor walkup, the room we checked into was outdated and felt like a bait and switch. The end tables were incredibly damaged. The "fireplace" was a very chopped mantle with an iron log holder. The wardrobe was definitely older than me. The coffee maker (single cup kurig) just poured the grounds into the cup. I attached some photos here. I called down to the desk to voice my complaint and was told we were in a superior room and we would speak about it in the morning, which was fair as we arrived around midnight. The next day, the hotel moved us into a second superior room which was as-advertised on the website, so I did not include pictures. One thing which persisted in both rooms was the small, scratchy towels. I took a picture in front of a light to show how thin they are. Also, weird toiletries. One bar of soap (not one for sink and one for shower) and no lotion. Edit: Also- the AC is not on during the winter. Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem, but there is no control over the heat (central thermostat with radiator heat). It gets hot. We were on 2nd and 3rd floors during our stay. 2nd was hot. 3rd was very hot.

Entrance door accessible to all off street. On New Year’s Eve an intruder was challenged by two separate guests. Parking poor and staff not accommodating.

We had no idea that our room would be on the fourth floor of a building with no elevator. Luckily, we could make it up, but this information should be stated up front before booking.

Nice and cozy hotel in beautiful Old Quebec. We had a room with a fireplace. We had great experience there

Good location. Small room with no frills, but this was good for being close to Old Quebec.

Love this hotel, very convenient to all attractions. Will stay there again.

Charming room close to shopping and other tourists sites, but not on a crowded or busy street. They upgraded me to a studio, which was lovely. Large room with full kitchen, pull out couch, private porch, and comfortable bed! The place was clean and nicely decorated. I loved the old building charm, and the furniture/decorations and kitchen area were put together very nicely! I definitely want to go back, and plan a longer stay with them!

Apparently the Acadia was full so we had to walk to another hotel Was this hotel less expensive than the one we reserved? We paid What we were told th original hotel cost???? Orbitz please respond.

We just came from the airport after a VERY stressful flight with everything going wrong including lost luggage. When we(my 14 year old sister and myself 18) got to the front desk the clerk was super friendly and upgraded our room to this amazing suite with fireplace, spa bathroom and lounge area. All of our questions and concerns were answered and we felt like we were staying at a best friends home not a hotel in a foreign country. It was located in a prime spot as we just walked out the door to everything we wanted to see and do. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel is located in an excellent area of old Quebec. There are lots of very good places to eat within a few blocks. Our particular room was not in the main building but down a few buildings. There was no elevator and packing the luggage up 2 stories was a bit o work. Other than that we found everything to be very nice. As I said, you really can't beat the location.

We made the reservation for the Acadia but actually stayed in the Hotel Louisbourg, a nearby building owned by the same parent company. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We were in a front room facing a busy street so it was a little noisy but a fun location. We enjoyed our stay!

his property is ideally located in Quebec's old quarter surrounded by the many restaurants and gift shops and 2 blocks North of Hotel Frontenac and just south of the city wall. Good value for the area and they have a cute roof top loung area inn the main building. Appreciated the in room kurig coffee machine and the maid topped these up daily. The air conditioning works almost too well as we were there on the hottest days of the year. My only complaint is that bed could have better support.

Our room was not anything like the pictures when booking. Our shower did not work when we arrived, and no one came to repair until the next day. The floor in our room was sloped down in such a way that we had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed to keep the blood from adding pressure to our heads while we slept. The electric fireplace that was in the room did not work, (no heat), and the logs were broken exposing the light bulbs in the bottom of the unit. The dresser that was in the room was very old and rustic, but in poor shape and smelt extremely bad, to the point that our clothes smelt like musk and mold. Speaking of Mold, there was a heavy amount black mold in the wood frame of the window as well as through the shower. All and all, I would never stay there again and would refer anyone who asked me to find another place to stay. The hotel Acadia is not fit for service from what we seen or experienced.

Hi, Thank you so much for the review and for choosing our hotel for your stay in Old Québec. We are truly happy that you enjoyed the perfect location, the room and bathroom cleanliness and the bed comfort. As you know we are bicentenary buildings and all our rooms are different with their own and unique features. So it's possible that you have seen on the web some rooms that can differ from pictures. That being said we are pleased that our staff proposed you another room to accommodate you. Finally, we are going to share your comments with our cleaning staff to verify the toiletries. Bonjour, Thank you for the review and for choosing our hotel for your stay in Old Québec. All our buildings are protected with a locked door. You must have a entry code or a key to be able to get Inside the building. As for the staff, usually our Customer service is our strenght and we must accommodate perfectly all our guests. Hi, Thank you very much for the review and for choosing our hotel for your stay in Old Québec. As you know we are bicentenary buildings and all our rooms and buildings are different with their own features. As for elevators it's well shown online and all our guests must make a request of a lower floor before their arrival. Many thanks, Haris
