Our 5 night stay was absolute heaven. The staff, each and every one of them, were so friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and wonderful. I loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The bar and lounge were great places to read, relax and meet people. We now have new found friends from Australia. We were also fascinated by the historic of the building and seeing artifacts all throughout the property - even on the room. We loved our stay. It was our second time there and we look forward to visiting again.

The breakfast at Auberge Saint Antoine is first-rate. Many food options including a wide variety of specialty items such as a fresh fruit compote and homemade jam that were exceptional. Eggs are made-to-order and the breakfast bar offers meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, sweet breads, toast, cereal, oatmeal...I could go on. A lovely setting with exposed stone walls, lovely atmosphere and casual but impeccable service. We highly recommend this option and feel it was well worth the additional cost. Theo greeted us as we arrived and swiftly took charge of managing our luggage. Emil at the reception desk was wonderful and made a fabulous recommendation for our anniversary dinner nearby at Va Bene. The concierge booked our reservation and alerted the restaurant that it was our anniversay which resulted in the presentation of a tiramisu that we will not soon forget. Clean, well run and with a top notch staff! A wonderful experience!

The rooms are extremely dated and run down. They are not charming, they are just old. The only way to find an outlet to charge your phone is to move the nightstands. There is no mini bar and very limited bathroom amenities. The TV is very small with a wire hanging out. I had to ask for filtered water every day because they only leave one bottle for a family of 3. The lobby is not very luxurious and I found the decor to be unattractive . Some of the games In the game room were broken. Overall, under welcoming. The staff is nice and location is great but that just doesn't make up for the dingy / dark room at this price point.
