So, I am not usually one to complain, as I am currently staying in a travel lodge that gave me a a free upgrade to a 2 double bed room from a queen bed that I was hoping to share with my fiance. It is less than par to say the least, but overall I am satisfied, despite the deep red carpet stain at the entrance, and the 1970's carpet inside that has been very well upkept. That being said, I will give this room a 3 star. Now, as for the Ambassador, I first booked this hotel, based on the fact, that there was a pool, and it seemed from the initial photos that this was some sort of Oasis. When you see the photos you see a very well laid out indoor pool area. The cascading waterfall as described looks very beguiling. Upon entry to the pool area, my fiancè and noticed it was very dark. So much so that it was hard to notice the opulence advertised, but also hard to see the bird cages, and bird excrement adding to the once perceived lavish setting. What was once appearing to be exotic and posh, turned out to be the ostentatious display of a avian origioned skin rash soon to ensue (mind you, the rash I now have, may not have come from the ambassador, it is just a little suspect). As for the main lobby, it was as lush and welcoming as was the front of the hotel, which, was to say the least, reminiscent of a derelict office building/soup kitchen as there were indigents picking through the trash as we arrived. The room is not cleaned on a daily basis. There is no microwave or breakfast provided; however, there is a fast-food outlet conveniently located nearby. Overall, I would rate the experience as average.

Property needs major upgrades as it seems to be neglected. There is a restaurant in the hotel but they do not offer room service. The fries were inedible, the pork ribs tasted of rot. Spent 200$ on dinner and threw out half. The pool looked dirty. The birds were cute but the cages way too small.

Correcte

Beaucoup de poussiere dans la chambre et odeur un peu étrange. Nous n'étions pas dans la partie rénové de l'hotel. Tres chaud dans les corridor et l'eau de la piscine est beaucoup trop chaude, on dirait un spa. Nous avions choisi cette hotel car ils acceptent les animaux de compagnie.

This hotel has the potential to be amazing. The pool area was beautiful but needed some work. Railings were wobbly. Hot tub was scalding hot the first night. And the jets dont work. Felt like we were having a bath with strangers. The pool was nice. The ceiling had obvious water damage and wasnt patched up. The room itself was clean. The sheets were weird. No fitted sheet just two flat sheets and not a very big mattress protector. Comforter was very thin. But the AC worked. The door in the bathroom had visible water damage that was just painted over. The hotel looked nice but it definitely needs some work. Great price though and they allow dogs. So awesome.
