Stayed here 1 night during the John Deere Classic golf tournament so the hotel was pretty full. Appreciated that there was still ample parking after getting in later in the evening after dinner, but was a bit challenging (and dangerous) to find the entrance to the parking lot because of all the road construction barrels. I would have to say that the individual at the front desk when I checked in was pretty disappointing. Besides barely acknowledging me when I checked in, she did not thank me for being a Marriott Gold rewards member, which might be the first time in years my status was not mentioned at check-in. When I got to the room itself, the room was reasonably large and it was nice to have a sizable sofa/sectional to spread out on to watch TV. It was a nice bonus to have Directv channels in the room, but the hotel really needs to put the receiver box in a better location as it was nearly impossible to change channels from sitting on the sofa. The bed was a little hard for my liking and the pillows a little too soft, but the room overall was sufficient for the convenient location to the golf course on relatively short notice. There was free breakfast available in the morning, but I did not visit it before leaving so cannot speak to its quality or selection.

Good Hotel on Business trip and leisure. I was on business trip and stayed for about 4 weeks. Hotel get's very noisy on the weekends as local/travelling families come with kids to enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool, gym and breakfast. Breakfast is not at all good and is monotonous for long stays! Overall, a good hotel.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. We rented the two bedroom suite. Perfect for children as they go to bed earlier and allowed for us to stay up and watch television without disturbing their sleep. One small issue had nothing to do with the hotel was a very loud man signing and running in his room above us. Understand that if you stay here that others are here for long periods and use this much like their home. If you get past that you are golden. The staff were wonderful and very helpful as we are not from the area and were here for a weekend getaway with our children. Breakfast was mostly warm and had a decent variety. Well worth it and out of the hustle and bustle of the busy city. If we ever find ourselves back, we will stay here again.

This is the third time that I have stayed at this hotel. It is a very clean hotel with modern amenities. The workout facility is nice. They also offers happy hour nightly. The hotel is easy to access from the interstate.

Stayed for one night. Our Marriott gold status was not acknowledged at the check in and we did not get any priveliges that would normally come with being a gold member. Interaction with the front desk lady, Carey (sorry if I misspelled it) wasn't pleasant, plus she was addressed me as "honey" in place of Marriott appropriate mam or miss. Breakfast attendant did the same thing, so looks like it's a normal thing at this Marriott property. We stayed in a studio and don't have any complaints with the room, except mattress being hard as a rock and bed being uncomfortable. Breakfast was good, but not as good as some other RI. Oatmeal cold & running, watery, no toppings for waffles. Used the pool/hot tub area & it was lots of little kids unsupervised in a hot tub. Then their guardians came in, we chat a little & found out that they are guests of one of the hotel workers. This Marriott property needs help. Properly addressing customers would be a good start.

I am at Marriott Platinum Premier member and spend 2/3rds of the year in Marriott properties. My recent visit to this hotel was frustrating to say the least! I checked in and when I got to my room and got everything unpacked. I went over to close the curtains and was shocked at the cobwebs that were all over my windows (see photo). I sat down to turn on the TV to find out it didn't work. I called the front desk and the lady working stated that she was aware the TV didn't work and proceeded to ask me if I needed a TV.....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? She called back to my room and said she would move me to another room on the same floor and she would bring me the key. I re-packed everything and when I came out of my room the lady from the front desk was coming down the hall with the other keys. We exchanged keys and she handed me a Klondike bar for the inconvenience.....well, I am diabetic. I informed the lady that I had to stay an additional day and she said she say that I extended the reservation and updated my room key. The following morning I go to the front desk and I am told that nothing was extended and they would try to keep me in the same room. I told the man at the desk that I wasn't moving again. The fixed my room key and said they were sorry. I asked why they would put me in a room that was not fully functional and I was given no answer. It was very frustrating and I was shocked at how everything was handled. After all of the inconvenience I was offered a Klondike bar!!! It is highly unlikely I would ever return based on this experience. By the way - the Klondike bar was thrown away!

My husband and I have stayed here several times, but not for a couple of years. It is easy to get there and close to family. We have been happy with the staff and room. This time what disappointed us was the mattress on the bed. In a way the bed is comfortable with maybe a feather bed on the mattress and good pillows. The problem was the mattress. It creaked and moaned loudly on every movement--sitting, turning. It was so loud that it woke me up several times during the night. I hope this is not the norm for other Residence Inns or other rooms in this Inn. Our room was 405. Aside from this, the breakfast offering was just okay.

My husband and I recently spent a Friday night there on our way to Iowa City. The moment we walked through the door, we were treated with special care! The person behind the desk was friendly and made you feel right at home. The entire facility was clean and felt very modern. The breakfast set up was by far the best one I have ever seen,and I have traveled to many Residence Inns throughout the U.S.over the past four years. The attention to every detail was outstanding! - Thank You!

It would be so easy to give this property five stars. Impeccably clean, well-furnished, huge accommodations, comfy beds, good free breakfast, conveniently located, great staff. When I checked in, I had a reservation for a 1-bedroom suite. When I went to the room - which was humongous - I found that the light in the bathroom was not working. As it is integrated with the bathroom fan, I knew it was not a quick fix and it was late and I was tired. The front desk was very apologetic that the only other room they had available was a 1 bedroom studio. Well, that room - which was on the 1st floor - was not only more than big enough for me, but the ceilings were about 15' high which made it feel so much bigger and airy. I don't remember staying in a hotel room with such high ceilings and I loved it. So why only four stars? The coffee. It was weak, tasteless, and had grounds in it. It's not that hard to do good coffee, and this was a total miss. As someone who enjoys their morning cup, it was disappointing - especially since to get anything better would require getting in the car. So if you don't drink coffee, definitely stay here. And if you do drink coffee, you should still stay here, but bring your own.

We stopped here on our trip to New Orleans and were very pleased. Everyone here was helpful, courteous and friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was perfect. We were surprised by a dinner the night we arrived. The property was in great shape.
