I had a very unpleasant experience in this hotel. The first day we arrived we were given a dirty room. That's fine because it happens and the guest service (front desk) changed our room. The second room was fine. Then we tried to connect to the internet and succeeded after a few attempts to find out it was very slow. After 10 minutes the internet signal disappeared. Called guest service and asked for assistance and they put us on hold for more than 15 minutes. We hung up and called again and they again put us on hold for half an hour. Hung up and tried to call again and they did not bother to pick up the phone the third time. Went downstairs and complained to guest service and the front desk guy tells me he can't do anything about it unless I bring my phone down or change the room again. Kenny (the name of the front desk) was very condescending. We all have bad days but he should have taken off if he had one. They offered me credit when all I needed was just the internet. Went down with the phone and another front desk tried to assist (Cassandra) and she did her best but the internet still didn't work in the room. I was told that no one from maintenance staff available in the hotel during the weekend so I had to wait until Monday. Monday came and went and i never received the internet for the whole vacation week. In 2017 this should not happen because i paid for a room with internet and never received it. The whole ordeal changed the mood of our vacation.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay all employees were amazing and very attentative

Nice hotel. Wish they had more on site activities. Tennis court was closed and the casino was shutdown. Overall stay was good.

My wife and I visited San Juan/Puerto Rico from 15-26 May, 2017. We stayed at the Condado Plaza Hilton in San Juan. While the amenities, facilities and services were all pleasing, the location left us rather insulated and isolated from the real economy and variety of San Juan. The results were an over-priced and insular experience. Parking a vehicle at the Condado Plaza Hilton cost appx $19.00 a day, yet the location makes it extremely difficult to walk to any nearby restaurants/businesses. I urge you to get out of the Condado are and explore old San Juan. Our next trip will involve a hotel that is not isolated from the rest of San Juan. We found the prices in the Condado area to be very close to those in Denver or any other large/expensive U.S. Mainland city. Ten minutes away the prices were much lower, the variety greater, and the 'flavors' more authentic. Thankfully, we had plenty of time in Puerto Rico, and we soon figured out that there was much more to see and do outside the Condado area.

The hotel didn't have room service, which was a little annoying, and the hotel was a little dated, could use some update/renovation.

We went there to celebrate my 40th birthday and we loved our room and really enjoyed the hotel and the area. We had an ocean view room, beautiful room, with beautiful view of the ocean and a nice balcony. The hotel is well located, close to local restaurants, close to El Mercado Condado, Old San Juan (El Morro castle, The Capitol), close to some beaches. There is access to a semi-private beach from the hotel and they control who's a hotel guest and who isn't by checking guests name and giving them a wrist band, which is great. There is a water slide in one of the pools and a salt water pool, which is cool, plus a hot tub. They offer massages by the pool, and we had it and the massages were amazing. The concierge at the hotel can book tours for guests but I heard from several people that if there is not a minimum number of people signed up, the tours get cancelled (ours did, twice due to the weather), so do your research and you may want to book tours directly with each company. Uber can drop you off at the hotel but cannot pick you up there, you have to walk to the sidewalk to be picked up (not a big deal) and that's something the hotel should change. They should not get involved with cabs and Uber because it gets in the way of their guests experience. Go to the islands. We went to Vieques and spent the night, rented a scooter next day and went beach hopping, it was awesome. The hotel staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Def. recommend staying there.

Good places to dinne in and around the hotel walking distance to a lot of shops and beautiful beach

Enjoyed this hotel especially the location and amenities. Friendly staff and overall a great experience.

Pool concierge never had towels. Pasta from cafe caribe was terrible.

Small bathroom door barely opens without hitting the toilet... outside pool bar only stays open until 9 when pool is open 24 hours ????

The hotel is great BUT the patrking is not included, I paid 17 dollars a night for parking PLUS hotel fees PLUS a government tax.. it was expensive and breakfast was not included either.. YOu spent a lot of money on just the view and the bed...

My boyfriend and I stayed mid April 2017 for a 5-day get away. I upgraded the room to junior suite from king room about a week after my initial purchase of the package (which an Orbitz representative suggested; I called to confirm my reservation and ended up upgrading). Upon arrival, the champagne and roses I ordered were set up beautifully and the room was nothing too special but moderately clean. But I was very unimpressed with the view, if I had known that for the next 5 days I'd be staring at an abandoned hotel to my right and a run down hotel to my left, with an extremely minimal view of the water, I wouldn't have booked. I called several times to ensure that I'd have a beautiful view. The "city view" is of run down hotels across from the plaza. The "balcony" isn't truly a balcony, seeing as though you can only walk out about a foot. Once we arrived, the staff were very unhelpful and almost "matter-of-fact" about everything. I would've spent my money elsewhere or tried the sister hotel "Caribe Hilton" indefinitely. Not an experience I recommend.

Don't let the name Hilton fool you! The joke is on you.Outdated hotel. Bed wasn't a king, but a queen mattress on a king platform. Staff not helpful at all. Concierges are social, but useless as far as helping guest.Food overpriced. No microwaves in rms. Front desk staff, not at all accommodating. Waste of money and time. Orbitz, I'm disappointed.

Overall, the experience was fine. Staff friendly and helpful, facilities were very adequate, and good proximity to Old San Juan. Watch all of your receipts carefully. PR seems to be prone to be overcharging (even at the hotel).

Was an amazing stay here. Everyone was nice and was very comfortable.

everything is so expensive especial if a person decide to eat at the hotel

Had such and amazing time ❤️ Everything was amazing ! Can't wait to visit again

There is no questions this is a beautiful hotel but my experience with them was not so good. We could not get into our room for 2.5 hrs after check-in time and the room we were placed in was not what I had reserved. I brought my concerns and issues to the staffs attention who did not appear to understand why I was unsatisfied. I feel this is unacceptable service especially with the amount of money paid to stay there.

This was a vacation and I was not impressed with the hotel and beach area. Beach area should have been properly cleaned and upheld. Pool area offered no activities and if it did there was no mention. Prices of drinks were very expensive. There was no incentive offered to make the stay at the hotel worth staying instead of going out for food and drinks outside of the hotel due to the cost. Took three days to locate a microwave which should have already been in the hotel room. It was freezing throughout the hotel and in the room.

Very local place that close to everything and everywhere.
