"The food was not good. The quality of food was low grade. Fake juices in the machines, no sausage, bacon. Just inch long hot dogs as sausage. None of the cut fruits were ripe, the scrambled eggs always had something cooked into them like chorizo, did find over cooked plain scrambled eggs in the snackbar. I stayed 3 nights and that only qualified me to eat in one of the specialty restaurants ONE time during the 3 nights. It's supposed to be all inclusive but i had to pay 315 pesos $18 USD for a small 8 oz. Chewie Ribeye. I've stayed here 10 different trips starting in 1997 threw 2007. Then started staying down in Riviera Maya. After Royal Resorts sold them they went down hill. We only came back to celebrate our anniversary, seeing how we were married there in 2004. The majority of the guests were Mexican nationals and other South Americans and the food was geared towards there tastes. Witch i totally can understand. The majority of guests were were 50 plus or young couples with children. The pool blasted the same 10 songs over and over. Three days of the same 10 songs was pure torture. Personally i wouldn't go back if it was free. I'd rather pay a litte extra for something less Spring break meets bad Mexican restaurant. "
