The place is cute and the food is good, the service is not that good, they “forget” to prepare a dish, so the food came in different moments... the floor of the patio where we have breakfast was really dirty and is an indoor place... good thing they are pet friendly!! But please people clean the patios!!!

The hotel is situated in a lovely street and the building itself is a beautiful converted colonial building. We had a nice room called “Frida” which opened up to a communal area. The staff was very friendly and enormously helpful which we really appreciated. Breakfast and dinner were very good too. Our problem with the hotel was the constant music from which you cannot get away. The constant drone of light pop music from 8 in the morning till late in the night became unpleasant and unnecessary. The rooms are meant to be soundproof but in effect they aren’t, certainly not when in the evening you get the music from the roof terrace. Apart from this El Sueno is a hotel with a lot going for it, but if you are sensitive to noise it might not be the best option.

Very well located in the heart of Puebla’s downtown, this small hotel has very nice rooms, excellent service, very good breakfast and very service-oriented staff. Just one block from some good museums and restaurants and a 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral.

This hotel was awesome. We arrived shortly after the earthquake so we got a good deal. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My fiance speaks Spanish so that helped. Remember this is Mexico developing country so don't expect the Ritz. However, the rooms are clean the hot water works, bed was very comfortable, A/C worked, drinks were cheap and the free breakfast was to die for. I asked them to let me look at some rooms and they let me pick. I asked around and you won't do any better than this in Puebla. I posted a couple of pictures with my fiance and her local brother and uncle. I highly recommend

We saw this hotel in hotels.com and we were really excited about it. The photos of the rooms, dining area, and hotel looked amazing, and the location was prime. We arrived about 3 pm, went directly to our room and it was horrible.. The room was named MIROSLAVA, it was on the last floor (literally on the rooftop) and when we opened the door we saw the worst room we've ever been to. The sheets were disgusting, the bathroom was so simple and ugly we couldn´t shower in it, we had no light (very few lamps) and the worst of all was that the price per night was bout 200 dls (YEAH IT WAS A "SUITE"). When we made the check out we told the lady on the front desk and she only made us fill out a satisfaction survey. We were expecting so much more than that. Definitely not going back. Oh, and it had no internet.

This hotel is very well located, half a block from Museo Amparo, a must while in Puebla, and also very close to the Cathedral and the main square. Puebla can get busy and noisy, but once you´re inside this hotel you are surrounded by tranquility and beauty. The breakfast is amazing, there are so many options and its very abundant and delicious, try to have it included in the fee. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the spa is a great plus. The only downside are the rooms, though very clean and well equipped (except if you´re 3 people because you have to ask for the third towel, third water, third robe...) I believe they don´t have windows- at least ours and a few I got a glimpse of didn´t, just a small crack for air, so the air inside gets a bit stuffy and its dark, but nothing you can´t solve with air conditioning and electric light. Very pleasant stay.

This hotel is a must if you are going to Puebla! From the time you walk in until the time you leave, you are being taken care of. People are very friendly and helpful. The room are a great size and well maintained. The only problem is in the bathroom. When you sit on the toilet there is a plastic wall that is almost touching your knees. If I were a man, I'm sure the knees would touch. It is at the side of the shower so that the toilet won't get wet. Otherwise it is a great place to stay. They have a fabulous restaurant as well.

El Sueno was perfect for us.........>Upscale, Mexican modern, with a great restaurant. Fine dining is a petite room with magnificent chandeliers. Walking distance to many museums and the Zocolo, and other interesting places to go.

We were staying in a not great hotel in Mexico City and not having a great time, so we decided to try Puebla and found this hotel as a deal on a travel website. We ended up with the rooftop suite and an included breakfast for a tremendous rate. We were both sick and feeling awful, so after we were guided up the stairs by the efficient, but friendly manager, we saw our gorgeous room and felt almost better. Big bed, huge jacuzzi tub, crazy view of the city. For dinner that night we had room service which came almost instantly and was delicious. Breakfasts were equally good and very large. The staff falls all over every customer offering travel information and taking care of every neeed. One night my wife ordered a glass of wine from the bar, intending to take it up to our room herself. But they inisted on bringing it up. We never had to ask for our key, they always knew us by site. I've stayed in every kind of hotel and this was by far my greatest hotel experience!

Hotel was about three blocks from the Zocalo and walking distance to many other places. We did not eat the hotel but there were plenty of places close to the hotel to eat. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
