This hotel as I said just keeps getting better. We have now visited approx 10 times and can’t wait to return next year. The rooms are clean, comfortable & spacious. The staff are attentive & very polite & helpful. The shuttle bus into the centre of Seville is an excellent idea & our driver this year was very chatty & such a nice person - this type of employee is a credit to the hotel. The waitresses in the restaurant were always cheerful & pleasant and the same comments for the bar staff. This year also we noticed the addition of complimentary items in the room - this was certainly a nice touch & made you feel valued as a guest of the hotel. See you next September TRH and thank you for a lovely stay😀
massive room at a great price , 2E return on hotel minibus to city ( one location only ) , very large group using hotel when we were there giving confusion on where to get a meal ! Staff helpful and friendly in a very large hotel. Would use again .
Stayed 3 nights whilst travelling Andalusia. It is out of Saville and the shuttle service by the hotel is good but restrictive. No service between 1 and 5 with a final return time of 9.15. Most Restarant's do not open until 8/ 8.30. However adopt the Spanish time and visit Seville until 2/3 pm then a long tapas lunch and catch 5.15 back to hotel. Rest, swim etc then if you want to eat later there are several places within a 5-10 minutes walk including 2 supermarkets to DIY. We did eat in the hotel restaurant one night and the food was excellent to rival any top restaurant. I will qualify the restaurant NOT the buffet. Neither my husband or I will eat in a buffet due to the standard of food. Also we travel independently so several coach loads eating together is NOT what we would want. That said there are local buses not so restrictive that stop round the corner by the supermarket. The room was very basic and tired and we had no view but given the proximity to the motorway junction it may have been quieter. The lobby looked impressive but who on earth would design a hotel with many steps down without a ramp? There were disabled lifts - out of order! To sum up / ok for money and if you are in a car a good stop over. Driving in the city is a nightmare. BUT, add a ramp to wheel heavy cases down and perhaps an extended return shuttle service by request for payment cheaper than a cab.
We're on a tour and to start with, the hotel canceled our first of 3 nights stay (it could have been the tour company at fault of course). After checkin we walked down a long dark corridor (75% of the lights burned out) and entered a room that smelled foul, had a toilet that kept running and a nonfunctional refrigerator ( I have medicine that has to stay cool). We spoke with the desk several times as they weren't too responsive and finally they offered us a new room. That room smelled ok and the toilet worked but not the refrigerator. Finally they got that working. The room is a handicapped room with a large bathroom with a roll in shower that has wooden planks on the floor, most of which were loose. Plenty of outlets but not in the right places. Fair internet. Later We found what the hotel apparently thought was something with which to apologize -- a small cellophane wrapped muffin about 1.5 inches in diameter. Admittedly others in the group were reasonably satisfied with their rooms but all agreed the food was dismal. It's close to a department store but not much else and not near the old town. If we return to Seville we won't be staying here.
It is far away from the city centre so you have to take a cab or go with their shuttle services that only operate until 9pm. Our room was very dusty and the sheet had stains on them, the lighting in the corridors weren't the best and at night they looked like something straight out of a horror film. The breakfast was weak.
After we check in the stuff bring all our suitcase and bring to our room. 15 minutes later the bell rings, have an delivery welcoming gift; couple bottle of waters and small Champagne, couple of snack and couple plates salami sticks. They give us coupon, couple of glass of beer too redeem on the pool site. The room is huge, have a couch and table, balcony, very clean and tidy, buffet breakfast, free parking, gym, poll closed till midnight, and friendly stuff. awesome staying ever!
The hotel is big. Really. I've been in hundreds of different hotels all over Europe, but I've never ever seen such a massive and huge building. It (obviously) hosts insane amounts of guests, thus there are ridiculously long queues at the buffet (seriously, you could wait for 25 minutes only to get a spoon of soup or some slices of meat)...But this is still not the worst thing. I'd probably have felt happy and somewhat accomplished if the food had been good or at least accettable. Nope. I just can't find any proper adjective to describe how bad the food was. I was in this hotel for a week and after the first day dinner I haven't repeated the mistake to eat there again. Instead, the rooms were quite comfortable (although the bathroom's door lock was broken). Guys, Sevilla is a wonderful city, make sure you choose a nice hotel for your vacation there.
Pool. Go for the pool, and also the view of Seville.... Hotel is a large resort-type with expansive wings. Plan to do a lot of walking in the hotel itself.... Yes, from my observation, this hotel mainly caters to tourist groups, large weddings, and similar gatherings. An opportunity to meet many different people from around the world.... My room was large, probably sleeps 4, with a full bath + powder room. Room needed some attention, but OK. Problem with key card, but fixed quickly. Neighbor had a problem in the bathroom- the hotel moved them to a different room. Hotel in general needs some attention, but not in bad shape, nor dirty.... Front desk staff very nice and helpful.... In-house dining is very good..... Yes, very out-of-the city. Not the place for you if you really want to see Seville.
Ugh. At least it is only one night. This place is for large, cheap tour groups only. Not willing or able to change money. No ATM so have your money. Hot. AC incapable of doing much in the way of cooling. Half the pool was closed, because it was filthy I guess? Restaurant is a huge buffet, on a par with any fine Golden Corral but not as good. It is a madhouse in there with all of the tour groups. 37e for 3 ppl for supper. The bed is one box spring. I Swanee, it is HARD. The pillow is pointless. Hasn't been updated in ages. 20 minutes from the airport but you still have to pay the 24e airport surcharge so a cab ride is expensive. Rent a car. On the bright side, the lobby is pretty.
I would like to say this hotel is really nice, but I want to be honest for other travelers. The hotel looks very nice when walking in, and the staff are VERY friendly. They cannot help the old building function properly, however. The property is old and not in good shape. The air conditioning in my room cannot get very cool, and I wake up throughout the nights in a sweat. When the temperature is 100+ degrees F, air conditioning is critical. I did ask the front desk three times over several days to have maintenance take a look at the A/C unit, but no one ever showed up. Location is good. I work in Seville 3-4 times per year, but cannot say that I will stay here again. I likely will not.
