Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville-Downtown

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Loved Nashville fun town wonderful people in the city.

1. Price was ridiculous. $500. 2. Room setup was so awkward. Nowhere to put luggage (left it on floor in the "kitchen"). Minimal closet space. TV angle didn't face bed or sofa. 3. Tap water smelled of Chlorox. $2 per bottled water in the lobby. 4. Awful smell from the cleaning solution used at night in the lobby. 5. Receptionist was quite friendly, so there is that.

Nice hotel in a good location to the action. Staff was very attentive. Would stay here again for sure!

Great vacation in Nashville! Went to the Indigo Girls at the Ryman. Great concert! Enjoyed walking around downtown and listening to local music. The Homewood Suites was a great place to stay: friendly staff, lovely suite and great location. Just a few minor recommendations. Have fresh coffee made downstairs earlier. Very nice decor but perhaps instead of New York City prints in room consider prints of historic Nashville.

Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Location was great. Given anything we needed which wasn't much but new towels. Was great having full refridgerator and microwave. Will definitely stay here next time in Nashville.

Very helpful staff, nice quiet hotel, easy access to conventions restaurants and entertainment.

The hotel was not up to par. We were placed in the wrong room. The elevator didn't work. The staff was rude when complaints were made.

Great location and was able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go downtown. Only downside is the noise from out on the street was louder than you would like in the room.

Things that went wrong: -Fire in the basement upon arrival (firetrucks blocked front entrance of building) -Parking was a hassle (one feels committed to using valet and it is expensive) -Extended wait time for hotel room -Elevator broken -Areas of the building smelled like sewage -Placed on 6th floor in room that was marked"Smoking" (they switched us out once I brought it to their attention) -Valet parking was charged to wrong credit card (should have been charged to the card we used to book hotel, instead they took funds from the card we used to "hold" our room) -Waited 40 minutes for our valet attendant when departing the hotel (hotel attendant did credit back the valet charges due to these issues)

The room was a nice size and very clean. I enjoyed having a refrigerator. (for leftovers) and having a microwave. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

Everyone was very nice, the person who checked us in, the valet man, the cleaning people. They all made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and gave us everything we needed, plus being in with walking distance to Broadway. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

While not in the heart of the "happening" area of Nashville, it was a short walk to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the downtown area. They had free breakfast in the morning, eggs, bacon, hash brown, waffles, etc. and a free spaghetti and meatballs dinner the night we stayed. I would have preferred a restaurant onsite. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Had a good time hotel was in a great location in order to walk to Music Row. Had a great time!!!

We booked two nonsmoking rooms through a travel site and upon our arrival we received two smoking rooms and we were told that since we booked through this travel site there was not anything that could be done about it. Even though we had our confirmation page printed out that showed we paid for two non-smoking rooms. This hotel was a nice property but really needs to take care of the customers more efficiently, regardless of how they booked their reservation.

Great location, short walk to EVERYTHING, staff was very professional and friendly. Only complaint is that the hot tub was out of commission.

We were very disappointed in our travel weekend to Nashville TN. We booked a non-smoking room through discount OBZ and OBZ booked a smoking room with the hotel. My daughter is sensative to smokers and after one night in the room awoke completely congested with a headache. It was not the enjoyable family weekend trip we had planned. THere were no other available non-smoking rooms in the hotel, and Nashville downtown was booked. I do not like the fact that there were no contact phone numbers for discoutnt OBZ available to address the issue before it killed our weekend.

My fiancee and I had a great time this past weekend. Staff was very helpful and hotel has a very nice feel to it.

The hotel was in walking location to all the great spots in downtown Nashville! The room was clean and comfortable. I think a little pricey but worth it since we were only there 1 night.

Everyone was helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location; Close to all the attractions. Why pay more for the high-priced hotels in the area when this one offers the same cleanliness and great service?

Great location and very clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful!
