The room was reasonably quiet after we unplugged the fridge and turned off the heater... blackout blinds worked well... bed was excellent. Bathroom and shower were not above average. Breakfast was fine for most people. We needed low-carb options (zero sugar yogurt). The eggs and coffee were good (for us). I would have turned off the TV noise in the breakfast area and used captions for those that needed the info. Staff were professional, helpful, perfect. The location is great for walking to restaurants in Durham. Parking was free and convenient.

The air conditioning unit was loud, inefficient, and difficult to use. Also we were on the first floor and at 5:30 am a tour pulled up directly outside our window to prepare for the day. For the next 2 hours, the driver worked in the bus. I understand this is not the hotel’s fault, but that coupled with the terrible ac unit that beeped half the night, very little sleep happened.

Consistently Excellent Stays I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn in Durham, NH on several occasions, and it’s always a pleasure. The hotel is consistently clean, convenient, and welcoming. The fitness center is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel of this size—well-maintained and fully equipped. And the breakfast? Absolutely killer! It’s a great way to start the day. I look forward to returning again soon.

Excellent, well kept property. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Considering the hotel was pretty empty, was sort of surprised at the relatively high cost, though it is pretty much the only show in town.
