Hotel Continental Porto Alegre e Centro de Eventos

Good location, helpful staff

Pros: Great location and friendly staff that will go out of their way to help with putting travel agendas together, calling taxis, etc. Room is as advertised. Comfortable bed. Cons: Wi-fi extremely slow. Not worth advertising the wi-fi benefit as it barely works. I would stay here again.

Radisson Hotel Porto Alegre

Great location, getting remodeled, bad food

The breakfast was horrible, the staff seemed to be very unhappy complaining about the management. One of the employees actually came up to us to apologize for the way the lady from the front desk had treated us. He also explained that the management staff would be changing sometime soon and that the food they serve was second hand, bad quality and I could definitely tell when eating the breakfast. The hotel is still under construction, everything seems to be remodeled which is good. Awesome neighborhood. No gym, no pool. For Porto Alegre it is still a decent place to stay.

It's a hotel for any circumstance. It was a family vacation in my case but the location works for anybody, vacation or business. The room is awesome, clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. Staff was amazing. I did and will recommend this hotel to anybody that needs a place to stay in Porto Alegre. I'll stay again every time I go with my family. Thanks Holiday Inn!
