Nice hotel with efficient staff and good food in the lobby restaurant. Great experience with the shuttle, just call the hotel once you have your luggage and they come in 5 minutes to pick you up. There is a very nice pool and sauna, but we did not use it. Recommended for overnight stay; do not open windows because of pollution. Not sure if there is transportation downtown.
The Hotel has the international worldwide Novotel standard. Very good value, excellent sleep and cleanliness room conditions, in a good location. The only bias was in the breakfast: The time to fry some eggs was over 20 minutes. In a Business Hotel?
There are a big manufactory plant behind the hotel.....I could not sleep after 5:00 am......The staff of hotel tell me " The windows have a breaking sounds"......But this is not true. I hear all noise all night long....
We missed our flight and managed to get a room to stay overnight (me, my wife and two kids - 3 and 3 yr old). The staff was extremely efficient to place us a room not to say they were extremely friendly. Really enjoyed the place. We had a flight the next morning and got the trnafer with the hotel (only approx USD 1.50 per adult). The breakfast is really great with many fruit, cereal, breads, cheeses etc. Very convenient for our short stay.
Room is good, reception personel is kind and very prestative in solving your issues, altough they did not find at my reservation the breafast deal, it was included as per email received when confirmed the reservation. Breakfast is also ok, as well the room, amenities and bed and linens.
This is a relative new hotel very close to the airport. I've stayed already various times here when I had to take an early flight or had a late flight arriving. Overall experience is very positive: - Problems do sometimes occur but the staff then really does an effort to solve it - Food in the restaurant is good and the breakfast has plenty of options - There is a covered and heated swimming pool - Very good sound insulation, although you can see the runway from your room, you don't hear the planes taking off. There is an (paid) parking with guard next to it so possible to also let your car stay there safely at night. If you want to use the shuttle service you should call, taxi drive is cheap in the order of 10 R$.
Convenient mix of location, comfort and awesome internet speed. My second time here. To improve: USD 1.50 charge airport shuttle while there's no easy pedestrian walk. Uber to/from downtown is below USD 20
My wife and I were waiting for a bus to Gramado and, since we had some spare time, we decided to have a cup of coffee. They were very kind and invited us to sit at the breakfast room, the coffee was the same. We wanted to buy some little breads but they gave us as courtesy. Pretty good service, can't tell about the rooms though. They charge for parking but anyways, it seems good
The free shuttle from the airport was welcomed after a redeye flight from Lima. On arriving at the hotel it was only a short wait for the Front Desk to assist with checking in for a day-room. It was a good thing I had prearranged the day-room to make the reservation booking easier, although I wonder why it couldn't have been reserved in advance? Anyways, went straight to the room which was very clean and welcoming. The interior design was very well done. It was bright and homey. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Everything worked. The one thing that was missing was a hotel directory. There was no booklet or anything telling you about the hotel. For example, nothing to say where the pool was, what time breakfast was served, etc. It was the first time I stayed in a room that didn't have a directory; very strange. The views of the airport were cool for an airline enthusiast like me. Checkout was easy and hotel shuttle back to the airport cost R$5. Would definitely consider staying here again if I was ever in Porto Alegre. The only thing that frustrated me was that I wished the wifi was faster.
We had a good experience with this hotel in Porto Alegre. Very well located and convenient, if you want to be close to the airport but not from the city centre. No places to eat and shop nearby, besides the airport. The room had a good size window, and I was a bit worried about the noise, luckily, I couldn't hear a thing later on, as it's all very well made with good insulation. The curtains were thick enough, and it great to avoid brightness early morning. The room size was very good with many places to leave your personal belongings. The bed was very comfortable with decent size and the pillows were good. The bedding sheets were very clean. The room was very well cleaned and hoovered. The bathroom also have a good size and the shower got good pressure. All towels were very clean. The night staff wasn't too friendly but at least it was a fast check in/out. The Wi-Fi signal was good but not too fast, but at least it's free! The only negative point is in relation to the free shuttle. When booking this hotel through booking.com, we noticed that it was next to the airport and it had free shuttle, but when checking in, they told us that it wasn't. Luckily, I had my booking confirmation printed from booking.com showing it was free the shuttle service. So before anything, make sure it's clear if it is free or not with your reservation. Recommended!
