No value to your money. Room is not being clean well, I asked several time but it looks like no one care. Spiders in the room bite my kid and it took them 3 days to clean the spider nets. Beds is falling apart and not comfortable. Vegetables served in breakfast were rotten.
I always stay in Residence Inn because is the best choice in the area. Evening complimentary food , beer and wine, pretty good breakfast and good size rooms with full kitchen. That is all what I need for long stays...
We have stayed here to do holiday shopping for a number of years. It is close to Max for a low stress commute into downtown, and close to a number of great stores. We have always enjoyed the breakfasts, and even though a year passes between our visits, I swear the staff remembers us with friendly smiles. The front desk staff is cordial and helpful, and in particular, we want to commend Corina with the housekeeping staff. She was excellent in how our room was cared for, and she asked our initial morning if we needed anything else (more towels etc). When we returned from a hard day shopping, all the dishes were put away, and we were ready to relax. Thanks Corina!
We had a 2 bedroom with friends and enjoyed a fire ($5) and wine we brought while we played liars dice in the living area. Nice and clean and quiet. We were in Hillsboro for the state H.S. football game and was convenient to the stadium. If we should be in the area again we will definitely stay again.
I stayed here for one night, on the recommendations I reviewed here on this website. The room was very large — kitchen, living area, and bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, and I appreciated the Tea Tree amenities in the bathroom. If you like to cook for yourself, there are a couple of good grocery store options within walking distance. If you’d rather eat out, plenty of restaurants also close. There is easy access to the interstate, and just a quick drive to downtown Portland. The downsides: if you are unlucky enough to end up with a room on the first floor, you will hear your upstairs neighbor(s) and their every moves. Also, guests are not allowed to adjust the room temperature below 69 degrees. As the healthiest sleeping temperatures for most adults range between 60 and 69 degrees, I’d recommend you be at the upper end of this range for a comfortable nights’ sleep. This prohibition will unfortunately keep me from staying at this property again. A final note — I requested a late check out (1:00 instead of 12:00) when I checked in. I was assured that a note would be made in my file so that housekeeping didn’t disturb me. I hung the ‘please do not disturb’ sign outside my door anyway, but sure enough — at 11:45, housekeeping knocked on my door and told me that I needed to check out. Disappointing.
We chose this hotel on the recommendation of family. The room was an excellent size for our family of four (we had the 2 bedroom suite) and the price was good. The staff made this stay what is was, by being friendly and engaging from the moment we checked in. The kitchen / breakfast staff were superb. On a couple of occasions they provided me with trays to take food to my family in the room, which gave us the flexibility to eat breakfast before dressing (I did wear clothes to get the food!). Would recommend this hotel for families staying in the area.
I Stayed at the Residence Inn on Tanasbourne for 30 days with my wife and son for a relocation with my company. Their service is top notch! Everyone remembers your name. They will always have a smile and willing to help you when you need help. The have a lot of the same employees at front desk and cleaning crew for many years, this means their happy and that is kudos to management. I have stayed there for 4 years while traveling for work, they have stepped up the quality of food their serving too. I have stayed in all the hotels in Beaverton / Hillsboro area and service here is number 1. If you want to be treated like family have better food and service make a reservation! The cleaning crew is great Also! Thanks John
This property has such welcoming, caring, and friendly staff which makes it outstanding and gave us incentive to be repeat guests! From the breakfast staff to the front desk, to maintenance, to housekeeping, to the manager, we were always greeted with a sincere smile and a hearty hello! We received the gift of hospitality from their staff who treated us as valued guests. Our family of 4 adults enjoyed our stay in an exceptionally clean 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. One bedroom had a queen bed and one bedroom had a king bed. Each bedroom had it's own complete bathroom. There is a small sized (double sized bed) sofa bed in the living room area, perfect for a young person. The kitchen was complete with full-sized appliances and a modest amount of dishware. A sturdy high top table and four bar stool chairs which made for a good place to bring some takeout food back to our suite after a long day of touring. Insider tip; if you don't want to walk one flight of stairs, be sure and request a room on floor 1 since there are only 2 floors and no elevator. Not a huge flight of stairs, though. Location of this property is central to the highway, shopping, and dining. We enjoyed visiting nearby downtown Portland, staying super close to Roloff Farms for Pumpkin Season, and only an hours drive to the beautiful Oregon Coast, and even less time than that to Multnomah Falls early on a Saturday morning, followed by a peaceful stroll through the gardens and fish breeding facilities at the Bonneville fish hatchery just eastward down the highway from the Falls. We enjoyed our stay at this property and the beauty of Oregon. We can't wait to return! Thank you Residence Inn, Hillsboro for being an outstanding property that felt like home. ♥
The inn is tired and in need of a renovation. The location is good. Near the freeway, grocery stores, other shopping, parks and a movie theatre. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast OK - ran out of choices towards the end. The accomodations, linens and furnishings are NOT the best and do not reflect the cost of the room. Owner/management should consider replacing. They should also rethink the flooring material in the kitchens. Ask for a room away from the basketball court. (Unless you like to listen to a ball bounce late into the night).
All the staff at this facility were outstanding - from the front desk personal to the kitchen staff. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms, common areas, pool, etc. are also very nice and well maintained. One of the best Marriott experiences we have ever had.
