Another wonderful stay at the Cottage! We have stayed here several times, and love the proximity of the Cottage to family who live nearby, as well as great restaurants and shops. It is a true home-away-from-home experience in a delightful, friendly, and safe neighborhood. Five stars all around!

Amazing place with the Trimet around the corner! Very private and well-stocked for cooking. The bed was very firm which was amazing for my back personally! Would definitely recommend for the price.

Great little place!

Fantastic little place in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Queen bed has a 'dip' in the middle of it...maybe time for a replacement. Would definitely recommend this cozy place!

3 days in PDX

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. This place is quiet, private, peaceful, and in a great neighborhood location. I would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend to friends. Only 5 minutes walk from Mississippi! There were some minor cleanliness issues which were not serious, which I detailed in “report issue”. The simple metal frame bed was only modestly comfortable. I would expect a “real” bed frame with a headboard and nicer mattress. All in all, a fine place that deserves 4.5+ stars.

When a Cottage is Your Castle

This snug and comfortable cottage on Castle St. was a terrific place to stay in Portland while we visited our son, his wife, and our first grandchild. Besides being conveniently located in NE Portland (even though Covid kept us from enjoying the nearby restaurants), the cottage has a well-outfitted kitchen, HEATED FLOORS, a roomy closet, great shower, and a comfortable living room with a large-screen tv. We appreciated the off-street parking and, although we didn’t use them, the washer and dryer. It was impeccably clean and the door code entry system easy to use. We needed a battery replaced in the fire alarm and the property managers responded immediately. I would highly recommend the Castle Cottage to others.
