Was able to reserve a room on short notice. Staff was friends and the room was clean. Would definitely stay again if my travels bring me back to that area!

Room was nice, pool was nice, and front office staff were great. Friendly beyond robot hospitality which is what you usually see. The “restaurant” was...odd. We went for dinner at 8:30pm and a kid (very young) seated us. We ordered a pizza which took a long time, no one came back after the pizza came. There were only two other tables with people. I had to finally leave with the baby for bedtime and my husband said he waited another 25 minutes before he had to wonder around to find someone to get a check.

the staff was pleasant, especially the dining room staff, However we did not get a free whoopie pie at check in which I actually forgot until I saw them when we checked out. The first day the breakfast buffet was very limited, but there were more choices the second morning. Overal the hotel is in need of a renovation. The carpets were worn, the rooms needed to be painted and the furniture was worn. Also the rooms are very poorly insulated. Although the heat was on, the side of the room by the window was very cold.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean but the structure needs serious upgrades. We spent only a night, and it was fine for that. But would not consider for an extended stay. The upside was the staff, who were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Too expensive for what it is!!! Very far from the city Centre

Nothing fancy about this hotel. It was comfortable with no road noise. However, the air conditioner cycled on and off consistently which got to be annoying.

Overall, a good hotel for the money (compared with cost of others in the area) but needs updating. I felt safe. Room was clean and roomy, bed and pillows were comfortable, has wood floors not carpet (eh just so so), The spa, hotel, and pool were all very clean and accessible, although I didn't have chance to use them. The restaurant provided a full hot/cold breakfast buffet at no extra cost. The bathroom was tiny and outdated. The shower head came to 1/2 inch above my head at 5'6" and my husband is 6', so although water pressure was great, the overall showering experience needs improvement. The tub didn't drain quickly so you'd slosh around in 3" of the water you just showered in. In all fairness, I didn't complain because i wasn't staying long, so I didn't give the hotel a chance to rectify the problem. Although courteous, the front desk staff weren't openly or overly friendly (female in evening and male in morning did not smile) or very knowledgeable about nearby attractions (gave us misinformation about hours of a local brewery). Gave us complimentary whoopie pies, which were tasty and fresh.

Although it is located on Riverside Avenue, it is not near a river, but rather at an exit on I-95. However, despite the location, we were pleased with the gym, hot tub and swimming pool and pleasant courtyard. The room service menu and service are very good.

The outside didn’t look really great but from the moment we stepped inside it has been an A1 experience! Very friendly, clean and extremely comfy. I would most definitely stay here again.

Was probably a great hotel at one time but needs to be updated. Rooms and decor are old. Beds not very comfortable. Breakfast and staff are great.

Room with poor finishes. No carpet. Ac didn’t work

This hotel is close to town and has a nice pool inside and out. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is plentiful. The bed is comfortable and love the fridge and microwave in the room. There is a little bit of a musty smell but overall it is clean and comfortable

Clean room, plenty of towels, decent breakfast, all for a reasonable price...what more could a traveler want?

We came fur a funeral and we were upset that the chosen hotel for the family was booked. We chose fireside inn because of the proximity to the other hotel. We were surprised to find a lovely fireplace in the room!! Abd the lobster Benedict was amazing...

The overall facility is dated but the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful/friendly.

It was pleasant. It wasn't very close to downtown Portland, but we manage to find our way around.
