Loud and poor wifi

You can hear everything the upstairs neighbors are doing, talking, doing laps for some reason? The wifi was so poor the TV wouldn't connect, the only good spot for the wifi was in the bathroom. Neither me or my friends had good reception without wifi. No hot tub either
