Average hotel. Room closet door would not close, shower tub was cracking along with sink, windows were foggy.
The two girls at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind
The room was very comfortable and large. It has a convenient shuttle for the airport.
The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. Main point was that young lady at the desk (Rachel?) was very pleasant and efficient on check in and was able to help immensely with travel issues we were having.
Room was fine - Not at all terrible, but nothing special. The staff is the highlight of this hotel - Everyone we interacted with was courteous, helpful and very friendly.
Good experience after a horrible night at another motel.
Street noise was very noticeable. The room was very nice.
It's hard to write a proper review as the place is under construction. It was a nice clean room, though.
Under construction. This needs to be disclosed. I am allergic to dust and was miserable.
I arrived earlier than check in and they were very accommodating and had a room ready within an hour. Te shuttle service to and from the airport and cascade station was very helpful and the free breakfast was a plus! Jacuzzi was awesome and the room big clean and beautiful! I will def be staying here again in the future.
The hotel was great, was close to everything. They had a great breakfast buffet. We were going on to Newport, but wished that we had another day or two there in Portland.
The hotel was an average airport hotel. They were doing construction, so the first morning I was there I woke up to construction guys outside the window. It was a little ridiculous. Also after I got home and checked my credit card bill they charged me an extra fee and when I called to ask about it they said it was reversed, but they never credited my card. If you have stayed here I recommend checking your credit card bill to see if they've added a bogus charge.
wonderful staff, it was clean, and well worth the stay.
Convenient stay near airport, although shuttle took a while to come. Nice clean room. Walls a little thin but fine for a quick stay.
They are in the middle of a remodel, luckily our room was recently finished. Upon check in the hotel clerk had poor customer service skills. Being rude to the other employees and complaining while making me wait 5 minutes before she helped me. I got there at 2:45 pm, after waiting for her to finish she said no rooms were ready yet to come back in 30 minutes, check in time was 3:00 pm. We also had ants in our hotel room unfortunately. Other then that the it was a good trip. The hotel is close to everything we needed, including easy freeway access and 5 minutes from the airport.
Comfortable and very convenient location. Very nice stay.
Good, clean hotel near PDX. The shuttle service is on-demand after noon, and came to pick me up within 10 minutes of making a request. The driver was friendly and offered to leave me at the nearby train-station (Cascades stop) to catch a train (Red Line) to the city. She also picked me up later that night once more from PDX, which is where the train dropped me off after my explorations of the city.
The hotel has been recently renovated and looks great. We were in a king size room and the bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and we were surprised by how nice it was. There was a lot of room for our belongings and also two nightstands, one on each side of the bed, each with their own plug-ins. This was great! We did not eat the free breakfast, but it looked fresh and good, and there were a lot of people eating it. The lady at the front desk was very nice and cheerful. The only complaint I have is about parking. We returned to the hotel around midnight and there was zero parking available. Every spot in the parking lot was full and there were cars parking in non-parking spaces. Several cars were parked along fire lanes and along the curb at the driveway entrance. There is not street-parking and we did not want to park across the street in a restaurant parking spot. We ended up parking behind a truck along the outer curb of the island by the front door of the hotel. When we left for breakfast around 7am the following morning, there were still no parking spots available and when we came back around 8am we found one parking spot. I am not sure how a hotel can not have enough parking spots. My only thoughts are maybe people park and fly from there or people had multiple vehicles (which if that is the case, there should be a one vehicle limit per room). That was the only unpleasant part of the hotel stay, though it definitely is a huge deterrent from staying there again in the future.
Good experience, clean room, decent breakfast, friendly staff
When I'm on the road, I'm focused on the task at hand, the business I'm traveling to conduct. I don't want to have to think about the details about the room, the amenities or lack thereof. I want the hotel to think of them. The Clarion Portland Airport did just that. I can't say much about the staff because I didn't interact with them much. Everything I needed and expected was already provided in the room.
