Studios At Glenthorne

Pleasant, peaceful visit.

Beautiful building, super clean and detailed, Claire, the owner was great! Great location close to town and to the national park. Close knit town, very friendly.

Swansea Marriott Hotel

Acceptable

Staff in general professional but generally rarely smiling and generally cold. However Sarah the front desk manager did her best to straighten out our booking.

Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Airport

Great for the price

From the airport it was very confusing how to call up a shuttle. I tried calling and couldn't get service..so we ended up walking. Not a difficult walk but depending on luggage could be a nightmare. Confirm before you go with hotel about getting a shuttle and how! The airport employees told us there was no shuttle..Other than that it is very convenient to the airport. I would stay again. Also, I asked how early do we really need to get to airport for a 7am flight on a monday morning..I was told 2hrs ahead. Really there is nobody there...We could have easily arrived an hour before and that would have been plenty of time.I's a very small airport. Lessons learned.

Castle Hotel

One of the few hotels left in Neath.

An old hotel with uneven floors that creak as you walk on them. Adds character I guess. Nice room, with kettle and some nice toiletries in the bathroom. Tv only had basic channels, no cable. Had a problem with no hot water for two mornings, so couldn't shower the morning we checked out. They had someone try to fix it, but with little success. Also fire alarms going off for no apparent reason. Room is close to pubs so can get noisy on weekends.
