Wifi did not work

Spacious court yard/parking lot. But the bathroom fan was noisy, and the wooden toilet seat was jaded.

An absolutely awful experience. The carpet in the room was filthy and had holes in it, the bed was at least 10 years beyond it’s uselful lifespan and the air conditioning worked when it felt like it.

Hotel quality was fair. Office staff was perfectly reasonable. The stay would have received a 3-4 star rating, except that the hotel has a tenant who has lived at this facility for something like 10-15 years, who is a drunk. I wanted to stay at a cheaper hotel, for an interview in the Port Jefferson / Stony Brook area, so I had to wake up early for this interview. I was awoken several times an hour from 2am-6am by banging on the walls and shouting and knocking on my door by this drunk resident of the hotel. I called hotel staff, who told me he was drunk, and didn't do much else to stop the problem, and that, "he just does that". I was on the verge of calling the police, but did not as I was hopeful for his ranting to stop. Breakfast offerings were a single box of donuts.

For the price not bad for one night stay. The only issue was that there was a odd odor in the room. It seemed to resolve or I got used to it not sure which. Staff friendly, good location to everything else. Paper thin walls the couple next door had a great time.

Bare minimum acomodations for a reasonable price. Room smelled like smokers. Road noise penetrated easily. No Breakfast. Only coffee.

Ok stay staff not to friendly. But the sheets were clean clean. That's the best thing.

If you enjoy the smell of cigarettes this is the place for you. The bed spread had more holes than some designer jeans that were in style. After leaving my luggage in the room for 24 hrs, my chothes smelled like cigs as if I were a chain smoker. Well the staff is nice.

If you are just looking to crash for a night it is great. It's 2 miles from the train station which is kind of a far walk, but it is a short walk to go to a shopping center nearby. You can order food straight to your door which is nice too. I requested a nonsmoking room and they gave me a smoking room because it was all they had, the cigarette smell wasn't too strong but you could tell it was there. From the outside it looks a bit scary and it's kind of out of the way. The room was not bad, it had a new kind of door lock rather than a swipe and the room was pretty clean. I personally wouldn't stay in it again but the night I did spend there was not bad.

TOWELS SUCKED, NO HAIR DRYER. POSITIVE FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE BED WAS OKAY!

Unfortunately the advertisement on the website of what to expect is a tremendous oversell of what you really get at this hotel. The rooms are very small, very dirty, they smell of smoke and you get small towels to take a shower. The bed is like sleeping on wood. The hotel gets many late night young visitors who stop in just for "private visit" for a few hours and leave throughout the night. We were to stay 2 nights, but it was so bad, we just left after 1 night. They really should have refunded us the extra night. They need to address how they want to be recognized in their business. I don't think I would ever go back again.

Comfortable bed, I got my non-smoking room, Good job by the attendants and cleaning staff. My only complaint would be the interesting stains in the shower... but it's to be expected.

My wife and I felt very uncomfortable in this motel.

Very nice staff, right price.

We requested a non-smoking room. The only room available was a smoking room and it smelled disgusting, as did all my clothes when we checked out. There was a dead moth in the shower, the refigerater did not work, only one lamp out of the three in the room worked. Only one outlet worked, which when 4 adults stay in a room is a little ridiculous, only one person was successful in charging their cellphone. Lastly, the door lock did not work and when we came back to the room after leaving we had to have the front desk let us in. They were aware of the problem, however the only solution was to have someone let us it.

it was close to my fishing chater

[...] The MOTEL is good for the price. Its easy to find on a main road-- Rt112. Some may prefer a HOTEL. It is within 15 minutes from major stores.

I found it very noisy, too close to the road. A good value for the price ($99.00 a night)and close to downtown. A $10.00 cab ride each way to and from downtown.

Good hotel for the cost and location..About 15 minutes from the downtown..Not quiet or a safe location. There are better hotels by the 495 hwy.

Staff wasted my time and wasnt helpful after a long drive. All i needed was sleep and check in took 45 minutes because my reservation was apparently different in the hotel's system and even when I showed him my itinerary, he was still reluctant to give me a room. Finally after he attended two families while i stood aside getting irritated, he gave me a smoking room that made my allergies work up and in the worst spot of the entire hotel where i couldnt even park near my room and had to carry all my luggage to my room in the pouring rain. The front desk even promised to come in with a spray to help with the smoke smell but never showed up. I shouldve slept in my car.
