Perfect place to relax

I love this hotel! How can you go wrong when you’re overlooking the ocean? My room was in the newly renovated side and it was beautiful! Breakfast is very simple; make your own waffles, some cereal and breads, etc. The indoor pool / hot tub - you can’t miss it! Even if it’s a thousand degrees outside and the ocean is screaming your name, give the hot tub a try.

No frills hotel. Property was clean and our room was recently renovated and the bed was excellent. Lounge was good with live music both Friday and Saturday which we enjoyed. We would stay again.

When we checked in I used the public bathroom in the lobby. That smelled heavy of urine. The lobby smelled like it was just sprayed down with some fragrance spray. I should have known then how the rest was gonna go. Our room had a weird smell I can’t even describe it. There were dead gnat looking bugs in the window. The window was so water marked up you can’t even hardly see the bay. You might as well not even get a shower. The shower head just sprays one stream out. The bathroom light/fan combo was so loud we just used the heat light for a light when in the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable. You hear very sound in the hall. Slamming doors and people above us sounded like they were coming thru the ceiling everytime they walked. Hardly slept because of every sound you hear. You can see light thru the room doorframe. I will not be staying here again.

The hotel itself is honestly nothing to write home about. It reminds me of a motel 6, so if you want a resort style stay, this is not it. That being said, the reason to stay is the view. Get a ocean side view and you won't be disappointed (probably ask for a second floor if you can). The beach is accessible during low and mid tide. It is completely hidden during high tide but you still hear the waves and see it crashing into the rocks. There is a public part of the beach right next to it. I'd stay here again.

Renovations added really nice upgrade to rooms. Unfortunately, there was a lot of renovation and remodeling going on at the property, and there was a lot of furniture and mattresses in the walking areas. Caused an eyesore. But, that view is amazing. Get a room with an ocean view!! I’m thankful that this hotel is a little less expensive than others because it gives less wealthy people a chance to have a beach vacation. Pool and hot tub were great too!
