It’s a great location and walking distance to sites and restaurants. The only water available was a vending machine, it would be nice to have mini store or a bar onsite. The rooms were a bit outdated the rugs were old. But the bed was comfortable

I loved the historical area and the staff was awesome. The building itself seems to be showing its age; the interior needs some TLC. The rooms need small repairs and maybe some drying out as the ones we stayed in kind of had some mildewy smells to them... the showers are a bit outdated (which is charming, but I can see it being something more people might have reservations about)... over all great! Just friendly feedback.

Not good at all

This is more of a motel then a hotel, the location is good but the amenities are old and not very good.the rooms look good on the website but are far from it,the carpet was humid and felt damp all the time, so did the furnishings.we stayed 5 nights and for two of them we had no hot water.they charge guests a resort fee of $30 per day witch is ridiculous for this type of place.Don't be fooled this is not a comfortable place to stay.

We loved our stay at the 1620 Hotel. Super Location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy beds. Plenty of free parking. Dog-friendly to boot! The only slight negative - if I had to find one - was that our room was facing the pool area and had no natural daylight. However, since we didn’t come to spend all day in our room, it wasn’t a big deal. All the other positives made more than up for it. I would stay there again, no question.

It took a hour to finally get the room I selected and going back to front desk 3 times and guy checking us in attempted to put us on wrong floor furthest section possible after reserving a balcony to pool area for our children he attempted to tell me it was expedia's fault which was wrong my itineraries said something I told him it was his mistake and wrongdoing due to the fact of how long and how many times it took forcing I significant other to be late by an hour and 15 minutes for work which jeopardizes her job of employment for over 8 years consecutive no one should ever be forced to have to be spoken to by your boss because of front desk is not doing their job properly and trying to blame it on others unprofessional and very unpleasant if it was a different experience I might actually like the place but no one called when the file I'm went off or is I refuse to walk barefoot
