Julie was an excellent host. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Don't miss the opportunity to spend a night or two at Thornton Adams Above The Bay! The location on Plymouth's Warren Avenue is ideal. Our large room was beautifully decorated with antiques and a bed that was as soft as a cloud. No detail had been overlooked. We loved the ocean view. Although we had to leave before the formal breakfast was served, the dining room looked very inviting.

Our room was lovely and sparkling clean. Breakfast was self-serve and certainly adequate. We were disappointed that we never met the inn keeper. We arrived very late and there was a note on the door about our room and how to find it. That was great as we did not have to disturb any one. However, we spent the night, had breakfast, packed up and left never having met the owner. So much of what is fun about a bed and breakfast is talking with someone who lives in the area, so we really missed that personal connection. Other than that, it was a lovely B&B and located very close to the activities of the Plymouth area.

Great room, great location. Never saw the owners or any staff. Kinda weird, but I guess that's kinda the way of the future: everything done online, no human interaction, but everything is what you would expect. I would of left the staff section blank, but Orbitz won't let me. The place was clean, there was continental breakfast out each morning, and they left us a balloon and sparkling wine for my wife's birthday, so it shows consideration of a human somewhere, however we never got to see them or thank them.

We were looking forward to a Gourmet breakfast, especially since the table is set in a beautiful formal style. Absolutely no hot breakfast food. I've had better buffet's at Hilton chains. Room was gorgeous, nice view, beautiful duvet and loads of pillows. Mattress is so soft you think your're on a cloud. Sadly, my wife and I like a firmer mattress and actually had difficulty sleeping on it. Place is only minutes away from Plymouth and would be an easy bike ride in warmer weather. Destination is awesome, as you can walk from one place to another.
