Large Room and Convenient Location

Hotel Staff were nice, check in was easy, we had a quiet room on second floor. I was a little nervous about our very small high windows in our room, I felt that they didn’t meet egress. Yes I would have been able to squeeze out barely, but someone larger or very old would not be able to get out of that room from window. The stairs were directly across from our room which put my nerves at ease regarding a fire. The room was large and bed was comfortable for me. We didn’t use the pool so I can’t say anything about that. The bathroom sink was slow to drain I never spoke with front desk about that it was fine. It’s not the ritz but it was very convenient for our golf tournament stay. We stayed 5 nights. Breakfast had bacon! Finally:) I have travelled a lot this summer and this free breakfast was the first that had bacon instead sausages. There’s a grocery store and a drug store close by aswell as some chain restaurants like McDonald’s

The staff was very good. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. Lacking in amenities, no glasses in the room and difficult to find in the hotel. Wine glasses were requested and provided wet as staff scrambled to wash and then replaced with dusty champagne glasses. WiFi is poor, TV impossible to operate and limited channels. The pool was great. The area around the hotel isn’t great and on a very busy highway. Good food options close by. the hotel is seriously overpriced at almost $400 a night even without the gaps noted above.
