Everything is good.. very helpful and friendly staffs, room is clean, good facilities, umbrella, beach bag and even slippers provided in the room - value for money. The location is excellent and the staff are very very helpful & friendly. Very clean & good sized rooms. The breakfast offers a wide range of hot & cold food and is very good.
The hotel is exactly what it looks like in pictures! Spacious lobby for you to chill or even take a nap. The room is equipped with daily refillable drinks. Rooms are spacious and equipped with thoughtful items like umbrellas and beach towels (those things come in really handy in unpredictable conditions). We only spent 3 nights here but are in love with this place. Close to bangla road, 1km 15mins walk. 5 mins walk to Patong Beach. You have to try the massage opposite the hotel, next to the Indian restaurant - best one we had here! (No hanky panky, I really enjoyed mine by the older auntie)
Ive recently had a stay at the nap for 2 weeks with some friends, I was recomended the hotel by a friend who has stayed there quite a few times. I cant thank him enough for telling me about it as it is quite simply the best stay ive ever had in any hotel and ive travelled a lot and have stayed in a lot of five star hotels including places like the four seasons and the mayfair hotel in london and this hotel beat every hotel ive ever stayed in hands down it was just amazing on every level. The rooms are so well turned out and perfectly cleaned everyday and you have everything you need in them, the hotel is very modern and sleek with a grand entrance when i first arrived i was really impressed with style of it. but all of that said that is just the begining. What really made my stay for me was all of the staff who are incredibly helpfull and friendly ive never experienced service like it anywhere in the world. it really is good testament to the management by a lady called MAM how was at reception and welcomed me on arrival and asked my name in front of her staff who never forgot it once. every morning i was welcomed by my name which is a nice thing. kay and art where amazing too and always greeted me with the traditional hands and sawadikap. i just really felt like they all cared for me the whole time i was there. and also a guy called SAE and all of the bar and restaurant staff were brilliant and nothing was to much trouble. I would rate this hotel 5 stars it literally has been the best hotel experience i have ever had and also the first hotel i have ever rated on here because i wanted to thank all of the staff. Thank you Mam and all of your staff for such an Amazing stay me and my friends will definately return.
I recently spent another 6 Nites at The Nap, and once more was impressed with the friendlyness and helpfulness of the staff especially at reception and the restaurant. Art is always very friendly and takes that extra step in customer service.
The only bad thing with this hotel is their strange internet policy that is dated 19th century. You are only allowed to connect 2 units in your room. It should be changed to at lest 5 units or why not as many units as you want? However - when I complained about it I got very good service and the problem was eliminated by the IT manager after a meeting with the General manager, Mr Panya. That meeting was unexpectedly pleasant and I found a genuine interest of sorting the problem out. Very very nice. Especially since I might have been a bit angry at a start... The speed of the internet was very good. We booked a small room with a pool view and found the room to be quite small (as expected) but big enough for two persons. A big balcony was part of the room and the bathroom was very nice with all the amenities one could want. The room was quiet and the air-con was working good. We slept very nicely on the comfortable queen sized bed. The room cleaning was excellent. We also had the mini-bar with non-alcoholic drinks free of charge - appreciated. We where offered a fruit basket upon arrival. The breakfast was very good and you could order your eggs anyway you wanted. We found a lot of choices for the breakfast - both for asian and european taste. They even had cheese - not seen in many hotels in Asia. Thanks for that. We also had dinner and lunch a couple of times at the hotel's restaurant and we found it to be very well cooked, served with good prices and - of course, excellent service. ALL staff where extremely friendly and always tried their best to make us feel comfortable. We felt very welcomed. Both me and my friend still remembers and appreciate the excellent ice cold non-alcoholic drink's we got on arrival. I must add that when we returned to Bangkok after the Phuket trip we had one night at a Bangkok hotel and immediately after checking in there, we realized that we missed the pleasant stay at the Nap. Next time we go Patong we know where to stay: The Nap!
I think of this place as my home away from home... perfectly located away from all the hustle and bustle, but an easy walk to the restaurants, bars, night life, and Jungceylon shopping mall. Plus the main Patong beach is just at the end of the street. It feels quite exclusive without the 5 star price tag. Elegant buffet breakfasts with chefs on standby to cook your eggs the way you like them. And there are not too many kids or families to spoil the relaxed ambience. And the staff are always friendly and give a warm welcoming smile.
We stayed for 3 nights at the Nap Hotel. The location is great, close to the beach and easy to get around from here. The staff are lovely and the hotel is nice and clean. The pool area is very quiet and the gym is small but functional.
What an amazing experience my staying at The Nap Hotel. The staff members were very courteous and took great care of my staying. I was really satisfied with the restaurant. Normally, during my holiday oversea I rather taste street food or find local restaurants. However, The Nap restaurant was spectacular. EIT, PLA and the other members of the staff provided an outstanding service. Eit's gentle manners and attention to details made my holiday. Friendly and professional staff made the different and I will definitely come back. (FYO Pla's mohijitos are the best in town!!!). All the dishes were delicious. I stayed at the hotel over 10 nights. The location is perfect, near Patong Beach. Nice area for those who are looking for a piece of quiet. I will definitely be back at The nap and I strongly recommend it. The Nap holds the values which make the customers to come back: high quality, being genuine interested to your guests and caring. Eleonora Serena
This is a 4 star hotel with many 5 star details and amenities. The desgn is very simple and elegant with an Ecological theme throughout. The room was very large and stocked with extensive high quality amenties and refreshments (all complementary). Lovely linens and towels also. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely considerate and courteous, they really could not have done more. I was most impressed by the restaurant. I do not usually east in hotel restaurants but all of the dishes were spectacular and the service was excellent, A highlight of my stay was definitely the cooking lesson with the executive chef Suksaard. It started with a trip to the local food market where he explained all the local ingredients.I was then instructed on cooking 4 Thai dishes, in the fabulous exhibition kitchen at the back of the restaurant, with sublime results. The location is excellent, just a few metres from the beach, but far away from the noise. I will come back to Nap Patong and I highly recommend it.
