Loved the hotel! The staff was pleasant and helpful. Especially Soe. He very attentive to my son and his girlfriend, everyday, at the pool. Location, location, location...it was fantastic. Close to everything. Only complaints...The bed was really hard and the cook at the breakfast buffet was really slow...good, but very slow! All in all, I would return!

Great hotel in a great location. Facilities were very clean and staff was very friendly.

The superior room overlooking water tank of neigbour . The hotel need renovation .

Our stay was not very pleasant. The hotel was advertised as a 41/2 star and it was not that at all. I would say a 3 star and that's being generous. The room was not relaxing, bed was uncomfortable, sockets did not work, hotel amenities: pool, furniture, chairs were showing their age. The Front staff was not very friendly and judgmental. Hotel had a lot of noise due to construction and large families (lots of kids). Lastly, we left a day early and went to our next destination.

Overall, it was a good stay but note that the beach directly behind the hotel is unusable. While I was there, there was a pile of washed up trash and debris on the beach. We ended up walking along the beach/boardwalk to find a more suitable location, but then decided to hail a cab to another beach.

We choose Baan Laimai for it's location and we're not disappointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Booked our trip to Phi Phi Islands right through the hotel desk. Very convenient. The beach is just across the street. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes available. Several hot foods like bacon, sausage, fish, chicken, potato's, rice, veggies, French toast and a pancake maker. A large variety of fresh fruit including watermelon, pineapple, papaya, cantalope, bananas, yogurt, nuts, and several cereals. A salad selection. 8-10 types of fresh pastries and a cooked to order egg station. You get 2 free bottled water each day. Rooms are very spacious and the have a bag to use for the pool. We had a pool facing room. The complex is beautiful at night in the lights. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel was in the perfect location. Pool was nice.. rooms were good. Staff was amazing

This hotel was absolutely amazing. Tremendous location that was within steps of the beach and a short walk to the infamous Bangla Street. Although you're close to the nightlife action in Patong, the hotel remains a quiet relaxing sanctuary. The pool was phenomenal and the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our September vacation to Phuket, Thailand choose Baan Laimai hotel. It is good place. Good price and helpful staffs.

The Hotel was better than I expected and many of the rooms are being freshly renovated, but the noise wan't a problem.

The "superior" room (which is actually the cheapest one) is terrible and has no windows. It also has a weird door that doesn't close very securely (but judging from the pics, maybe all rooms have that kind of door). Over all a pretty decrepit room: the furniture is old and worn, the whole room smells like old moldy wood, on the other side of the bathroom wall, there's an industrial kitchen or something that makes noise, the room itself is right behind the reception and close to the are where they have live music every evening... so it's pretty loud. I didn't really care about that part though because I was out until about 3am every night, at which point the hotel was quiet. Oh, and did I forget to mention that I saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom on 2 separate occasions? I didn't get a "clean" feeling from that hotel. The swimming pool is nice - much nicer than the room. The restaurant and bar are also good, and the food is tasty and reasonably-priced, at least for the Thai portion of the menu; if you wanna order a steak or pasta or some other western dish, it's not gonna be that reasonably priced. The live band was really good. The location is pretty good - walking distance from the main party street (and just across the street from the beach). So over all it's a decent hotel, but the rooms are bad - at least the "superior" rooms. From the pics it looks like the "deluxe" and higher rooms are much better... but I haven't seen them in person so I can't say much. There are better hotels in the area for the same price. Also, there's an "additional person charge" if you wanna bring someone to your room in the night, just FYI. (I didn't do it, but I saw the sign at reception).

Perfect spot across the road from the beach. The breakfast buffet is nice with omelets, bacon sausage, and all kinds of cold cuts. The fruit is very good and the hours 6:30-10:30 reach everyone. Be careful on the beach with the umbrellas rented for shade as they let many rays through and I got a terrible sunburn. There are many fine and reasonable restaurants nearby and the restaurant at the hotel is very good and pleasant sitting outside near the road. What a wonderful experience!!

Hotel Baan Laimai offers modern rooms at affordable prices. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. The restaurant had a very good breakfast buffet and OK service in general. Location is very well as it was in front of the beach. It is located near to all the main atractions in phuket beach. Overall a good value.
