The resort is clean. The staff is efficient and cleans your room very quickly (you get your breakfast and come back and its already clean. The hotel is a little oaisis tucked back behind the main street, but it is an good distance to shops, food and the beach. I had my own hot spot, so I did not use the wifi. Other guest said it was good to use, but the staff warned me it works best in public areas.

This is a good cost-benefit hotel, the service and room are average and you are in a good location to visit everything in Kata and Phuket and also have a great beach close by (Kata Beach). The breakfast is also average, do not expect to have everything but it's enough. We think this is a good choice for those who want a good night sleep and visit the city and beaches.

We are a young family of 6. Our interest was to relax in Phucket, visit the beach, some small shopping, good food, lazing by the pool. This hotel is in a side street on a very busy road. It's just far enough away that once on site the busyness disappears but close enough to be in the thick of the adventure once we left the hotel. The pool was large enough for my children to mess around in and always clean. We had two adjoining rooms. The rooms were stunning. Our wifi was hard to pickup from our rooms which is the only negative I can give this hotel. I would happily return. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Kata Country House is surrounded by lovely tropical gardens with lots of beautiful statue and towards the back of the hotel is a lily pond. We had a look at 3 different rooms and decided on a Bungalow with a private balcony overlooking the lily pond which was not bad for 1200baht a night walk in rate with breakfast (about AU$40). There are squirrels, birds, chooks and frogs everywhere, also car parking free Wi-Fi which is virtually nonexistent and in your room they also supply a bag with a double beach mat and towels. Location is pretty good surrounded by restaurants and shops; however it is about a 10minute walk to the beach as the hotel is in front of Club Med. The restaurant is also nice with very reasonable prices.

Had dinner there last night, looked clean with cold beer, had the prawns and squid , finish up with mass chic curry, got home and to bed around 9pm...then up at 2am not well at all, on the toilet for hours...could have been the prawns...only other food I ate that day was a Jnr whopper from bigger King... So I am putting it down the the food I ate at this restaurant .....look good ,taste nice ,was a good price. BUT.

We've been here to dinner at Kata Country House restaurant and shop at their fruits boutique when we were guests at Alpina Resort & Spa just steps away. Menu with a great variety of choices. Good food, good service, fair prices. And fruits at their shop are simply the best!

I had quite low expectations but these were quickly dispelled and I'd recommend this hotel that's about a ten minute walk from the beach in the middle of the shops and restaurants at Kata. The rooms were modern, clean and well equipped. Reception was helpful throughout, especially when I rang in six hours after leaving in a panic that I'd left a jacket behind that was carefully kept for me. Only one pool was open during our stay (not a problem) due to a refurb. It made a nice dip after the beach. On-site parking was available but if demand was high could be tight. The restaurant was perfectly acceptable but with competiton, there's plenty of choice.

I stayed 3 nights, the staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean but lacking practical features such as hooks, hairdryer, and a bedside lamp. The bed was very comfortable and the AC super efficient. Just a word of warning if it rains while you're there, the (long) walkway from the road to the pool and rooms is treacherously slippery when wet, better to take off flip flops and go barefoot than risk breaking your neck. The pool is in the shade most of the day and the walk to the beach is not particularly pleasant, but short enough.

Nice pool and good location next to the beach. The hotel also has a restaurant and shop on the premises. They sorted out a transfer to phi phi for us and the lady gave us a good price compared to what we had seen elsewhere

We stayed in one of the log cabins. Everything in the cabin is great. Little noisy next to the kitchen. Staff were excellent. Long way to walk to the beach as you have to walk right arround the hotel on the beachfront - Club Med.
