We have arrived to the very beautiful Bann Yin Dee boutique resort to be greeted with the best hospitality. The staff are so lovely and friendly. We have a deluxe pool view room which is stunning. It’s everything you want for your honeymoon. It’s up and out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Patong town, but it is still easily accessible within a 5 minute drive. The atmosphere is very zen and we don’t want to leave. Fern on reception is a lovely girl and she’s helped make our honeymoon wonderful. Our room is so luxurious. We will definitely be back! Food in the restaurant is very good and again the staff are friendly. We would highly recommend :) :)

Spent a fantastic 5 nights at this wonderful hotel in Rooms 101/102 with direct access to the lovely pool. Arrived to a well planned and executed Christmas Eve entertainment event that was great fun. Food that night and every meal thereafter was sensational. The new chef put together a really interesting and mixed Western/Thai menu. All the staff were incredibly helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We enjoy smaller, more intimate hotels and this really delivered. Would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants easy access to Patong Beach but doesn’t want to be too near Bangla Rd. Will return for sure.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel while traveling through Phuket. We stayed in a sea view suite, and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony taking in the sights. The staff was helpful and accommodating when we needed them (breakfast, check in/out, housekeeping, etc.) and everyone we encountered was gracious. We didn't use the complimentary shuttle service, and instead hiked up and down the hill to Patong Beach area as a workout. We loved the location being tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but that everything was a short drive away. We went to Paradise Beach on our last day and would absolutely recommend. The hotel grounds were extremely peaceful and serene, and we rarely encountered other guests outside of breakfast hour, which made it feel like a private resort. Would definitely return if visiting the area again.

Very good and friendly service! The rooms are very rustic but comfortable. The pool is very nice. The view of the beach and the sea is very nice! The breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately the food in the restaurant is very expensive. The wifi stops constantly.

This place is gorgeous. It's on the hillside overlooking Patong Beach. It's a steep hike to the resort or an easy cab ride. The 4 level pool is just steps outside most of the rooms. Everything was perfect except for a couple miscommunications. I thought it was made clear on arrival that breakfast was included. We had breakfast and then were charged for it. The breakfast was nothing special and very expensive compared to other places. We were also charged for 2 water bottles that I brought into the room, but they insisted they were already in the frig. Because they found them in our waste basket, they charged us. It may seem petty, but was very unclassy for them to dispute water bottles.

I stayed here for two nights with my husband after spending a week on the Star Clipper. We arrived early in morning to be told room not ready but offered us an upgrade to pool room for free, we were very appreciative of this. After the cabin on the Clipper our room was ginormous. Thai inspired with dark shiny dark wood floors and furniture it was lovely. Bathroom also huge with walk in shower, twin sinks, bath and dressing area joined to bedroom by sliding doors. Only problem we had was mattress very hard and a topper world not go a miss!We walked straight out of bedroom and into one of smaller pools. Breakfast very good and fresh and we even ate in the restaurant the first night. Now the problem is the road. This hotel is perched up high so great views down to Pattong but the road it is situated on is very very busy. Huge water tanks came up hourly and fumes billowing out of exhausts as also very steep and larger vehicles in low gears or engines try hard to make it too top. Not good for relaxing by pool. But for two days this did not bother us too much as we watched the movement of people and vehicles keeping us amused. Whole families on small mopeds, trays of eggs in back of vans, old men with younger Thais, backpackers, delivery drivers smoking with very explosive cargo! This is what makes Thailand and we enjoyed every minute of it. There is a lady with a taxi just outside to take you into town if you miss the free shuttle, she was lovely. One day we did not have change to give her so we just paid the next day, very trusting. Disco tuk tuk is the only way to return to hotel at end of night, loved it. Yes we would come back to this hotel with its smiling staff who were all so lovely to us but again only for a short stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights before sailing on the Star Clipper and had a room for the day before leaving Phuket. Rooms clean and spacious and delightfully Thai. Staff could not be more helpful . Sleep with the air conditioning on to perhaps help blanket some road noise however this is not a big issue. Shuttle service down to Patong centre and beach very useful.

The staff at Baan Yin Dee went out of their way to make sure we were happy during our stay. The architecture of the hotel is based on traditional lines which we loved. We overlooked the lovely pool and the ocean from our room (321) and it was only a 200 Baht taxi/tuk tuk ride into Patong. The taxi driver who sits outside Baan Yin Dee (Tee) is fabulous and took us all over Phuket. Only downside to our stay was the wifi was playing up but they were trying to get this fixed (a provider problem rather than the hotels fault). I've stayed twice now and would happily go back. We stayed 10 nights.

Hotel is situated on the hill to the south of Patong overlooking the town and beach and away from the party noise. Dont get a room at the front overlooking the pool and the town.. the noise from the hourly water tankers and taxis struggling up the hill will ruin any early mornings. Being on the hill there is always a cooling breeze so pleasant even on hot days. The walk from the beach is only for those fit and keen enough to burn of a LOT of calories... get a cab! It gives the impression that they have tried hard to please, but failed in many places due to not getting things made/fixed/installed properly. Nice attentive staff always willing to help and very quick to bring things to your room when requested. Rooms are big but strange designs. slippery marble floors in bathroom and highly polished wooden floors elsewhere can be dangerous for elderly... looks nice though. Not that elderly would manage the many steps without handrails around the site. Ground floor rooms have direct access to the pool but are not very private. rooms have heavy wooden panel doors that are hard to open. Bed is large & comfortable, but ask for extra pillow cases, extra towels As with anywhere in Phuket.. dont drink the tap water..which means the 2 small bottles of free water you get every day dont last long if making coffee etc in the room. Well stocked minibar... as if anyone uses a minibar these days!. Tescos, 7/11 etc in town much cheaper. No sockets to charge your phones etc, Wifi is badly set up with far too many repeaters causing the connection to keep dropping.. 2 or 3 well placed amplified aerials would have been better... and no signal in the dining area, nor some areas in the rooms. Food is ok.. breakfast expensive even if included in package - better to get room only and head to town for cheaper alternatives. Other meals OK but better choice eleswhere (try wine connection in town) Free minibus into town at fixed times. Free car parking - hiring a car good for this location if you want to tour Phuket or willing to park at Jung Celyon in town. Personally think its a bit pricey for what you get as have stayed at better value hotels nearby with more facilities, but overall a nice place to stay.

My first time in Thailand and I wanted to be centrally located to some of the major sites to see in Phuket. I specifically searched out small boutique hotels that were classy and had modern influences but wanted to stay at a place that had a traditional Thai architecture & feel to it. Very pleased with my choice to stay at Baan Yin Dee Boutique Hotel! My room was lovely and spacious! My patio over looked the hustle and bustle of Patong beach and the sea, but I felt peace & quiet watching from just a short distance! I came down with an awful cold during my stay and with no ability to communicate in Thai my need for a pharmacy, I was thankful to Lucky taking charge and getting me to an excellent pharmacy via the hotel’s free Noon shuttle. The pharmacist took my temperature, gave me a small examination, assessed my symptoms & prescribed some medicine. Thankful to Lucky for the countless cups of hot tea delivered to my room, fruit & special soup! It’s never planned out to be sick on a treasured vacation and just thankful I was staying somewhere the staff cared for my well being! Lucky, Tina and staff at Baan Lin Dee, although I couldn’t properly communicate this in the Thai language, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Also, thanks to your incredible chef for creating such a delicious seafood lunch for me before my departure with the seafood that purchased at the market! For such a small fee to prepare, it was really delicious and felt that it was specially created just for me! Khob Kuhn na na Kun! Patrice 🙏
