Here for our baby moon and this is a perfect recommendation resort for couples and families alike 👍🏼 Swimming pools with lazy chairs for suntanning and pure laziness which is what I am here for! Personal jacuzzi in the room if you prefer to be away from the crowd 😍
The resort is well maintained and the ambience is very relaxing. We got the sea view room, and the view is amazing. The only downside I have about this resort is that it is up a hill. But that also gives the resort the ability to have such nice views. Staff is warm and friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Would recommend one to rent a bike to get around without breaking a sweat.
A snapshot of our visit: *Smelly, mould filled room - given a new room the following day. *Meals ordered at the same time - ours arrived well after our fellow travellers had finished theirs. *Husband electrocuted - by live electrical current in the overhead tv light fitting, young housekeeping staff member that was sent up also was subsequently electrocuted as she spoke no English (we did attempt to warn her). Asked the front desk to send someone up to check on the health of my husband & their staff member, no-one arrived, maintenance man sent instead. Spoke with the morning manager Joanne who had not been informed of the events. *Room balcony - extremely warped and top railing not secure. *The dining area has numerous cats, not that I mind cats but not whilst I'm eating & they are begging for food. *Pool area is divine but still needing completion. *Great shuttle service for the hill to the beach. *Day manager Joanne was very friendly. Lovely location but the lack of the most basic English from staff and too many safety issues had us & our fellow travellers cut our stay here short & seek accommodation elsewhere.
Too many Russian and Chinese people. Breakfast was not many to choose and bad taste. Have stairs connected to the beach but was mess on the way too much bush and mosquitoes. Fitness room was too small have air conditioning but no music and not so nice., the running machines didn't work. The rest of them were OK. Just ok
This is a lovely hotel with lots of character, nice rooms and friendly staff who were always pleasant and willing to help. However, we did have some issues. When we arrived to check in we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who informed us that their pool is being renovated so they were going to move us to their sister hotel because of the noise of the pool renovations and obvious lack of usable pool. We were a bit confused as we had not been informed of this beforehand although they said that they sent an email we did not receive this and I'm still not sure if this was the hotels fault or the agency that we booked through. The hotel was still operating normally and there were guests around but at no point were we given a choice as to whether we would like to stay there anyway without the pool. So off we went to the other hotel and we were shown to a room but at no point were we asked if the room or the change of hotel was ok. The other hotel was nice but it was nothing like the Andaman Cannacia hotel and seriously lacked the character and beautiful sea views that we had originally booked the hotel for. There was a pool but that isn't the only reason that we chose the hotel. So eventually we asked them if they could offer us anything better in the original hotel and they agreed that we could come back over and they would upgrade our room. They gave us a really nice room with a beautiful sea view and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable which was very much appreciated. The pool renovations were actually much quieter than all of the noise over at the other hotel! During our stay, although there were a few other guests around, there was a feeling that the renovation caused them to be unable to fully cater for the existing guests in the hotel. We ordered some food on their restaurant menu a few times and were told that it wasn't available. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would consider returning in the future to see the pool and experience the hotel at full capacity.
We made our reservation through booking.com for this hotel. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was kind and generous enough to put us in a sea facing room .Her name is Aum.As we stayed for 4 nights in total.the stay was awesome with no problem at all.the room was clean .the staff is very friendly and kind.i also have to mention one more person who made our stay even more pleasant.her name is Joanne. Both Aum and Joanne deserve a Raise. These girls are treasures of this property .they made our stay at the hotel one of the best stays in thailand. Both these girls are the best in what they do .They are Professional , Interactive, Generous, friendly. Smiley , courteous and so many more things. It was true thai experience in many ways. Thanks to these girls and the rest of the staff. Well definitely recommend this place to my friends
Booked this hotel via travel agent for 7 night. When we arrived at hotel, the reception lady Fe was very friendly and allowed us to check into our room early, which was very much appreciated. And throughout the whole stay the hotel staff were in general very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool that we were looking forward into was under construction, very disappointed but I blamed the travel agent for didn't tell us. Walk into the room, the room size is big but look outdated and saw few dirty hand prints on the wall immediately. Bathroom doesn't have separate shower and have mold on the shower curtain. During the time of our stay, even though there were room service everyday, but our room doesn't feel clean or ever been cleaned properly. Breakfast was always the same, no variety no nice coffee and not nice... Hotel location is ok and shuttle service that was provided by the hotel was quite nice. Lastly, just one suggestion for people that have already booked to visit the hotel, Don't walk up the Hill in front of the hotel before sunset!!!
We spent 2 weeks here from the 30th of July to August 12th. Great place to stay, very kind people , always ready to help. great Breakfast. Close to everything. Great hill to walk up and down to start digestion. Loved it so much, all 3 of us thought is was great to get the metabolism going after pigging out and drinking. Great pools to swim in. Great views. Rooms are very decent for the price, well worth it. All people have different views on Hotel, that's why we are not all the same. Me being a fussy person with the misses, it was good enough for us, so I'm sure it will be good enough for you. Remember you are in a 3rd world country, so don't expect the Ritz, but for sure a great stay and sure sure we would stay again. all the best to all staff, we had a great time. Cheers,
Great welcome at reception and wonderful pool. Clean room with wonderful sea view, and daily cleaning, safe, fridge, balcony, good free Wifi, good restaurant, up a rather steep hill but with a scheduled free shuttle bus to beach.
This hotel was perfect for us. It's a charming place and the staff are all brilliant (especially Joanne who was left to deal with an error made by our travel company). We loved lazing by the pool and looking at the ocean. We paid a little extra for a room with a sea view and it was worth every penny. The room was quite spacious if a little outdated. This didn't bother us though as the amazing view was a higher priority. The cost of the view is that the walk down to the main street and the beach is a steep hill. No problem if you are of average fitness. It isn't a long walk. You just get a bit hot and sticky! There is a shuttle bus to the beach too but it's less than 10 minutes walk. The restaurant serves a decent range of food during the day and at night. The breakfast was a bit limited but it isn't a huge hotel so probably to be expected and there was always plenty of everything. We moved to one of the hotel's sister hotels after a week due to a pool renovation and were genuinely sorry to leave. We'd go back if we were ever to return to Phuket. We liked the hotel and it's location was just right. It's close to shops, restaurants and the beach but the short walk makes it seem secluded and peaceful.
