This is not a luxurious hotel, but its clean and affordable. Very good layout. There is a shuttle everyday, free of charge. The only downside is the uphill trek on the way back from town, only if you don't take a taxi, which I would highly recommend. Its a more quiet hotel in Kata Beach, away from all the intense hussle and bussle, but close enough that in 5 mins you are there, a perfect place to stay in Kata.
The staff is helpful and friendly. The resort is quite small, but greens is everywhere. Hotel has few swimming pools which is good. The hotel is old and needs renovation. The location is a bit complicated. One should climb the hill to reach the hotel from Kata beach and there's no a proper road for pedestrians. The shorter way is quite rough and be ready to be beaten by mosquitoes. Breakfast is quite poor. I wouldn't recommend it unfortunately. There are better hotels.
Stayed here for one week with my wife. Was given a great room with an amazing view. Staff were friendly, helpful, and we could tell they truly took pleasure in ensuring we had a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Most relaxing & enjoyable 10 day stay. Rooms plenty big enough with huge bed, clean & tidy. Staff very helpful, friendly & warm, will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Pool area clean & very relaxing.
Visited Phuket for the first time with another couple for a 10 day break. Hotel was in a great location, quiet yet distance to all areas very accessible. Only few min walk down hill into Kata (mist cheap meals), and cheap Tuk Tuks back. Hotel is also accessible to Karon, and other tourist areas including long boat rides to coral island, boats to bond and pipi etc. Great pools, breakfast included was great, staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Room was nice, air con cold for those of us that need our sleep. A great and positive experience and will be back.
Is this a 5 star resort? No,but it doesnt pretend to be. Have stayed many times. Never Disapointed. Great Pool area. Nice food available at poolside and not expensive. Spectacular views down to the sea. Be warned though. If you decide to walk from town, the Hill is STEEP!!! Shuttles are provided at certain times,Day&Night
Stayed for a couple of weeks last year. Had one of the villa spa rooms with jacuzzi and great sea view. Rooms were large and tidy, but they are actually underneath the swimming pool area, and as such, smelled damp and musty. The jacuzzi was a waste of time and never used and looked as though it needed a good clean. overall, a full update was needed, but rooms were liveable. Aircon was very effective. Nothong of note on TV channels for English speakers. Only really had breakfast in the restaurant which was Ok, nothing special, and obviously heavily weighted towards Chinese visitors. Ate there a couple of times in the evening and it was overpriced and not particularly good. Much better options in town. Pool was lovely, and staff were really friendly and very helpful and cannot fault them at all. Walk down the back into town was steep, down some quite large stairs, and then acros some rough ground past someone's house (where occasionally there were small groups of men sitting outside - my daughter once got a few comments as she walked past on her own) and into the main strip. Did not try coming back up! Taxis and tuktuks soon mounted up over a couple of weeks. I was happy given price paid, but I am sure that having seen some other hotels, that there might be better value elsewhere. Views from the hotel though, were beautiful. Would I go back? probably not.
We had a lovely room that led out on pool area. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms early in the mornings. Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, loved the aircon:). Free WI FI Breakfast ok.. Stairway to path that leads to beach is very steep and uneven and we got stung by wasps on our way down ... obviously if the beach is your preference this is not the ideal location, i suppose when you are fit and young that is no problem... Spa - loved the massage! one staff member i would like to commend is Joanne Carcia, she goes out of her way to accommodate hotel guests and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible, she is very friendly and goes extra mile! Thank you Joanne!
The hotel was "ok". I paid for a deluxe room but I am sure we got an ordinary one, as there seemed to be two styles of room from the photos. In any case, it didn't look anywhere near as nice as the pictures suggest. The bathroom wasn't particularly nice and had a bit of a bad smell, sort of fishy. Breakfast was poor compared to the other places we stayed. It isn't as close to the beach as you'd think either, and the stairway path that leads down from the pool area to the beach is DEFINITELY not suitable for children or slightly less able bodied people. I wouldn't really recommend it, but it's certainly not terrible.
Room was a good size for a double occupancy. Clean bathroom. Beautiful view of the beach from the hotel but no view from the room. Minor inconvenience was the location of the which is on a hill and a steep climb from the main road. Problem solved by renting a motorbike during my stay. In room amenities included tea/coffee service and as we like to drink a lot of coffee, housekeeping kept us supplied with sachets of coffee, creamer and sugar!!!
