Booking Process:
The host was super responsive and easy to work with. Also provided a great recommendation for a private chef to cook us dinner one night. (Chef Debbie).
The House:
Beautiful home. Everything was clean and spacious. Pool was awesome (and clean), though would have like an umbrella for shade. Certain parts of the house felt outdated, however that did not really detract from our experience. Examples: we never could get used to the electrical - there were a lot of light switches spread out across a lot of places (e.g. one bathroom had one of its light switches outside the bathroom and the other inside the bathroom). There was a single ~4" step down to a slightly sunken family room, which may have been popular when the house was built. The step blends in with the floor. We all tripped at least once in the first couple of days, and it had us on edge with three toddlers scurrying around the house. No injuries, however!
Location:
Paradise Valley is a nice place to be, and this house was in a particularly nice neighborhood. Most activies were ~15 min drive away, so you will probably need a car.
Weather:
Basically perfect.
To finalize: We had a nice time and were sad to leave.
