Hermosa Inn

We stayed at the Hermosa Inn for one night prior to flying home. While being close to the airport, we wish we would have spent more time here! The Inn sits in a quiet residential neighborhood and is an oasis of lush landscaping and southwestern buildings. Our room, a deluxe casita, was spacious and tastefully decorated with a large, luxurious bathroom and front patio with lounge chairs. What sets this property apart, though, is the staff - everyone, from the front desk personnel, to pool servers, valet, and wait staff were over-the-top accommodating and friendly. Sitting out on the patio at Lon's Last Drop for Happy Hour, and dinner at Lon's outside amidst twinkling lights, were truly a-ha moments. Hermosa Inn deserves any and every accolade possible!

We wanted a small, intimate place to stay while we were in town; Hermosa Inn was the perfect choice. The help was wonderful and helpful during our entire stay there. Our room was large and incredibly comfortable with a large bathroom. Every night they brought delicious cookies to the room for the turn-down service. The front office also had pastries, coffee, and tea in the morning and in the afternoon they switched out the pastries for cookies. Fruit and infused water is available all day long. The Inn was fantastic and we cannot wait to return!

Arranging a 5 year reunion with friends from out of state, I was recommended this amazing hideaway Inn. I was so glad we stayed. From the warm welcome to a wonderful room in simply stunning grounds, Hermosa Inn is unique. We stayed only 1 night and all of our group slept incredibly well in the luxurious rooms with the comfiest beds ever and huge fluffy towels! All the staff were fantastic, helpful and made us feel so very special. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast at Lon's - the presentation and food were exquisite our only comment was that we had to wait a long time to be served on each occasion but good food sometimes takes a while, we were in no rush and it was more than with the wait. We will definitely be going back.

Just back from a two night stay at Hermosa Inn in September. The hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood and is a real gem. The architecture is regional adobe, the room was first class and the restaurant over the top. The bar is quint, but does not carry Beefeater Gin which is a staple for anyone who likes Dry Gin. The best thing at Hermosa is the staff from checking, dining, house keeping everyone was wonderful. Hermosa is my new go-to in Phoenix

The Hermosa Inn was a really beautiful, tucked-away property. It was my first time to Arizona and it couldn't have been a better place. The staff was so kind, the friendliest I've ever experienced at a hotel, especially the waitress Angela. The room was lovely and the touch of music and warm cookies was so nice! I had a business meeting on a Saturday and the two staff members (I can't remember their names but they were male) went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They were really great.

A small Inn located in the city limits and residential neighborhood of Phoenix where the cowboys of yesteryear once lodged and dined at the Inn. Great venue full of history and beautiful lush gardens surround this property. The food was fantastic as was the service. We loved the Halibut dinner and tuna appetizer....okay the desert was great. The staff went out of the way to make sure our anniversary celebration was special for us. We thank them all. This is a must do adventure when here in AZ. Our casita was beautifully decorated and quiet with real cottage feel. Loved it.

Hermosa Inn is one of the best in Paradise Valley. When you enter, you pass through their spectacular cactus gardens - it is breathtakingly beautiful. During the day, go to the pool and enjoy some of the best views in Paradise Valley. Lons is an amazing restaurant. The carpaccio is a stand-out. The bartenders are also very good with their creations - tell them a flavor, and they will create it.

I am so glad I found this Inn! It is beautifully tucked away while still being close enough to the action of Scottsdale. Our room was clean, beautiful and relaxing. The grounds were well kept. The first impression of the guest services and valet/bellhop was much appreciated. We enjoyed our late night snack/drink at Lon's last drop, our breakfast and Lon's and our time spent at the pool. The shower products provided a spa-like experience and the rooms were kept impeccably clean. I can't believe we scored with their "summer in paradise" special. We will certainly be back! The only thing I may recommend is providing different coffee for guests in your lobby. Kuerig K cups are fine in the room, but I wish something a little more unique/decadent was provided. Great stay overall!

After the first night if the front desk had put a long term lease in front of my wife I think she would have signed it. We really loved the room (156) and all the secluded charm this hotel exudes. A Labor Day weekend staycation that finished the summer off grandly. We had stayed as guests 7 years prior and a recent magazine article caught my eye when it discussed the recent 5 million renovation and expansion. Curious what 5 million buys these days, reservations were made at super summer rates. Rm 156 is one of the brand new10 deluxe hideaway casitas. 700 square feet it seemed bigger in person and the retractable skylight ceiling reminder me of Chase Field. Now all you need to do is add some sexy music to its retraction process. Huge bathroom, natural light abundant, wood plank flooring, beehive fireplace in the corner, canopy bed with great mattress and linens. Tons of dresser space for your personal items. A walk in closet, room safe and it just goes on and on. I told you my wife would have signed that lease..... Jean at the front desk was exceptional. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. Any requests were all addressed promptly. Very professional and friendly staff. They like their jobs here and who can blame them working in a paradise oasis with the landscaping full of flowers, trees and shrubbery. 7 years ago we enjoyed our stay here. Now with these improvements and staff, this hotel enters the upper echelon occupied only by Royal Palms and Fours Seasons Troon North. Highly recommend this fine boutique hotel in beautiful Paradise Valley, Arizona.

We were upgraded to a Grande and Deluxe Casita (summer special) - amazing spacious rooms with the old feel - so comfortable and quiet. The grounds are exquisite, the food and service fantastic. This is our 4th stay there and have never been disappointed. True relaxation if you choose to stay on the property and so close to so much Scottsdale/Phoenix has to offer.
