We will be coming to Scotsdale for five years and the staff and the beautiful grounds, comfortable casita and the wonderful Lon’s restaurant have made it a trip to look forward to. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this very special place. It is not a hotel visit to us, it’s another visit with our friends. We have been made to feel at home on every visit and looking forward to many more.

This luxury boutique hotel is the place to go for a great escape. The individual casitas are spacious and beautifully designed. The bathrooms are large and well designed. The walk-in-closet gives you plenty of space. Housekeeping is perfect! Room service is well done, morning, noon, and night. The food is fantastic all around. The atmosphere of the restaurant, bar, and gardens is marvelous. Most important is the helpful and welcoming atmosphere generated by all the staff. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

This small boutique property is a perfect gem. The room was spacious...walk-in closet, large bed, seating area, dining area, a fireplace and outside seating patio. The grounds are lovely, gardens and pool. There are two restaurants and both are excellent. The casual one is by the bar and has intimate seating areas around fireplaces. The other restaurant has inside and outside seating...just lovely. It is also dog friendly! the staff are simply wonderful. Highly recommend.

The Hermosa Inn is quiet and peaceful you would never realize how close you are to civilization. A real chance to tune out and listen to nature and the beautiful fountains. The staff is friendly and not so present that you feel the are intruding. Old world service and style.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Grande Casita, where the 3rd night was free. Unlike the last hotel I'd stayed at, I didn't have to jump to get into the bed, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The comforter was luxurious, and the air conditioning great. It was easy to understand how to set the controls. The bathroom had an enormous tub - a true soaker - and a large glass-walled shower with intense shower head. Not painful amount of water, but feisty, and built-in shampoos. The WC was in a separate room for privacy, and had an impressive flush. Each room had solid wooden doors and either tile floors or real wood. Almost ADA, but had lintels to walk over. The usual luxuries - hair dryer, TV in each room (except bathroom, or I would have moved in!) and a big fridge and Keurig. However, I missed a microwave (as we brought doggie bags from various restaurants in, and couldn't reheat). Big rug and soft seating in the living room, but missed having a real rug under my feet in the separate bedroom. Actually got a splinter in my heel from turning around on the floor by the TV one night. We ordered room service for dessert one night, which was delicious (Lon's Candy bar and the key lime) and the staff delivers fresh, nearly hot cookies gratis each night. YUM. I tried the Inn's hot tub one morning, as the pool was generally busy, and there were a lot of ants, but it was hella private. The valets and staff were friendly, and I found the place very CLEAN. Strongly recommend!! A+++

We had a wonderful time. This is a magical place. The flowers and gardens are beautiful. We loved the private patio. The food was "over the top" both in taste and quality. The staff was most hospitable.

After reading about this hotel for a few years, I decided to try it. I have now stayed twice and probably will not stay anywhere else while in the Phoenix area. It is paradise in a secluded but not remote area. It is easily accessible fro most of the valley and well worth trying it out. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The grounds are well kept and gorgeous. The restaurant is amazing. A short drive to hiking, golf, shopping. I highly recommend this hidden pleasure.

Upon arrival, we could tell that the Hermosa Inn was going to be a different and unique experience! It's small yet luxurious in the public areas as well as our room/suite. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and quite unique. Lon's Restaurant was fantastic--we had a three course, grilled halibut dinner for a flat rate of $49. On the menu, the halibut alone would have been $42. The salad alone could have made a meal! Fresh cookies were provided in the afternoons. Freshly baked blueberry bread was made available in the mornings. All staff were very pleasant and helpful!

The property has an awesome setting, great high-end restaurant and service over the top. Staff was always willing to go above and beyond. Even with the hot weather, the pool was cool and worked well against the heat. We will certainly go back.

My wife and I always enjoy our stay at the Hermosa Inn. Same high standards and quality experience remains as the staff also has not changed. Thank you Deanna, David and Jean for your hospitality. The staff here makes this a special place to stay. It is probably ingrained in the place as the original owner, artist Lon Megargee loved to host his guests many times on short notice. We stayed in one of new casitas. Very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the retractable sky light. Our package included a generous food credit so all our meals for breakfast and dinner were at Lon's restaurant on the grounds. Delicious meals as always. Grounds are well kept and either self parking or valet parking is available. We enjoyed using the bikes on hand for a ride around the residential neighborhood. The Arizona Grand Canal is nearby and great place for jog, walk or bike. Head towards the Biltmore area for the really nice area of town. Highly recommend and will definitely will be returning.
