Slept great staff was very nice aND the breakfast was just right for us. Will stay there again and recommend this to my friends
I've stayed at La Quinta's all around the country and have never had one this bad. The place is dumpy with lumpy bedsThe area of Phoenix that it's in had a bunch of people around that made my daughter and I not feel very safe. We had people playing loud music half the night and even though we called the front desk to complain they did nothing. The place just doesn't look near as clean as most La Quinta's and this La Quinta has no refrigerator or microwave in the room which was a big surprise because all other La Quinta's do have these items. I would never recommend this La Quinta to anyone
This hotel is not fancy, but it was fine for our needs. It was convenient for us, especially with a Denny's and a Starbucks right behind it in the parking lot!
My husband and I booked a 4 night stay at LaQuinta because the chain usually has nice rooms in safe locations. This hotel wasn't in a safe location and was rather run down. It needed maintenance and an overall cleaning. The staff were friendly, bed was comfy and I am sure they did the best with what they had. But overall, it didn't live up to the brand.
No refrigerator no microwave no improvements to the room in the last 30 years what a Jipand a horrible part of town infested with drug attic's hotel very own kept an appearance not worth the money time or the effort
It's a motel where hookers & drug deals are taking place. And it's very very dirty :(
Very confortable,good atention. Excelent installation.
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to downtown Phoenix and its non-downtown rate. Upside? Phenomenal and funny staff, not to mention a discount at the Denny's next door. Downside? The bed was too stiff, the noise of the nearby highway seeped in, and the plumbing shrieked in the middle of the night.
Went to Arizona for surgery and the hotel was not up to my standards
Nice room, decent price, did find a few bugs though. Staff was nice, and close to freeway. Jiminy Cricket did make several guest appearances throughout the night, from my observation it was due to the door not being sealed correctly but the bed was super comfortable
This hotel is tired and needs a change. The room I stayed in was dirty, old, with stained carpet and funky smell. The door didn't really seal so light and sound came through. Even if clean and new the location, while convenient to I-17 and east/west thoroughfares, was loud early du to traffic.
The room showed obvious signs of wear and tear. The bed and bath linens were very clean. This is a motel with doors to the outside, and my room was on the back of the hotel. Police were outside the room that morning having made some sort of traffic stop or something. Didn't feel safe the entire night.
Nice professional staff. Very accommodating and helpful. Liked the stay
Fair, breakfast wasn't much. It was just a quiet room.
First room smelled of cigarettes asked to be switched to another room and we were but room still REEKED of cigarettes.
There was a shooting which resulted in a murder while I was there.
Good breakfast convienent. Just off freeway. Good staff and stores and restaurants nearby
It was a very good experience been there with my family because had many testaurants near the hotel
The hotel is old and dirty. Needs to be remodeled. Bathroom was very dirty and the room smelled like old stale smoke. Was supposed to be a no smoking room. Breakfast was not like other locations the same motel. Few choices. Left a day early because of the room. Will never stay with this company again.
while the rates are cheap, this location puts you just off the freeway (plenty of traffic noise), near a rail line (yep, they come through at night), and in a part of phoenix that is becoming quite seedy (homeless people in the parking lot and around the Denny's next door). On the other hand, the broadband worked well, the TV was fine, there was decent water pressure (though water sounds from neighboring rooms was quite loud), and you are just a hop, skip and jump from the freeway and the city center of Phoenix. If you are looking for ambiance, this is not it. If cheap is your goal - come on down.
