I had two reservations and both were already given to someone else . I flew in from California and was left on the street with nowhere to stay . They didn’t even offer the couch to rest or shower freshen up !! Horrible
Very clean. Great value. Would stay again. Mattresses were too firm for my comfort. Room a/c would cool off but then switch to fan mode, not sure if a timer thing. Would have liked to have cooled the room to my comfort level. Felt very safe. Location to our historic interests could not be beat.

Powerful AC made our room very pleasant on a 90F summer day. As a mom traveling with my 12yo son... he used the private bathroom on the first floor for his shower. That is a great option for people uncomfortable in shower stalls or for families. Really nice time!
Very interesting stay. My first experience and it was super kool! Shared a room but for just a nites sleep it was actually ok. They give you fresh linens to ensure that you sleep on clean sheets. And they also provide a clean towel. There are vending machines for snacking, and a full kitchen at your disposal. There are locker like closets to place your belongings if needed. The only suggestion would be to place air freshner sticks in the rooms with more than 1 occupant just to keep it fresh for everyone! And thicker floors so you dont hear the foot steps of people above you. (Wasnt too bad, but still) The staff was great and helpful (2 ladies). Make sure you dont have a car because there is no parking anywhere. Had a wonderful nite. Location was everything. And it was good. Definitely would try this again!!!

Conveniently located to pens landing, old city, Center City, five minute walk to south street. Pool table was great, love the full kitchen. Clean. Good experience. Met some nice people from Germany and France
Decent place to spend a few nights. Two buildings and lots of stairs. Too many signs and rules. Wish breakfast were offered every day and was a bit more than cereal and coffee/tea.
Nice hostel experience. Pleasant staff, spartan but clean facilities, convenient location to lots of places and attractions in Philadelphia. Great, solid lodging alternative for those travelers on a budget ...
Stay in private rooms to share bath but never a share rooms but love the atmosphere..
I never stay in a room share with more than 8 people in USA. But this time I am so lucky, I stay in a room share with more than 20 people. This hotel was Rwanda‘s hotel style. Rwanda is a sovereign state in Central and East Africa and one of the smallest countries on the African mainland. The room with a bed smell and very very small space. The bed is just a army bunk.
It was my first time staying at a hostel, and I really enjoyed the whole experience! I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days for an interview I had at a nearby school. The facilities were nice and clean, the staff members were friendly and welcoming, and the room was very quiet at night. The staff try to make a sociable environment by having special events every night. For instance, during the first night they had a ghost tour and the second night they had a movie night. I didn't get to go because I was busy, but I think it would have been a great chance to meet the other travelers in the hostel. I had no problems during my entire stay, and I will definitely be looking out for more hostels if I travel elsewhere! Highly recommended.
This was a 100% wonderful stay. The staff was so so helpful, kind, and efficient. The dorms, bathrooms, kitchen, and lounge were all very clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to Philladelphia Hall and many other attractions. Loved this place and highly recommend it.
