Wasn’t Great

This is the very first time I have left an unhappy review for a rental property. We did not receive an entry code until we reached the property after 10pm. We have rented many vacation homes and we always receive access information, as well as, check in/check out instructions in advance of our arrival. I emailed the host 3 times during our journey to Pensacola. We finally found a phone number in small print on VRBO’s website. We had to reach the host, via the website page and then wait for a response. Once we finally received a response, we were given a code that didn’t work! The host finally reprogrammed the lock with a new code for us. We stood in the dark quite a long time, trying to get in the house! Our son and daughter-in-law’s bed was clearly broken on the sideboard! How could housekeeping miss that?? The bed would not support the mattress. They would have seen the broken bed when they changed the linens. So, that made us a bed short. The room we stayed in had no bath soap. My husband had to find a grocery store for that. Lots of scuff marks up and down the staircase walls. No porch light on. The way this property is accessed-on a dark side of the building- we were all using our cell phone flashlights to find our way. Overall, I expected better. At least the amount of beds provided that are advertised! The property is on a VERY busy street! The host can’t control that, I realize. Everything else is an “attention to detail” easy fix. Won’t stay here again.

Beautiful Home. This place is an amazing and cozy home. Blocks away from downtown. We would rent VEO E-Bikes in/out of town. The bikes were parked less than a block away.

Nice place

The house was clean and nice. On a main road, so expect some road noise at night. The location is convenient to downtown and easy access to the beaches in both Pensacola and Perdido Key.

Beautiful Home

We stayed in this beautiful home as our youngest son was getting married on Dec 22. Location was super close to all festivities. House was clean and welcoming; a warm respite to recharge. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking to rent a vacation home in Pensacola. Really liked the fact there are 3 full baths as well as 1 half bath plus the number of beds!

Family trip

Overall the VRBO accommodated our family very nicely. I liked that there were two bedrooms with King size beds and plenty of bathrooms. However, some of the toilets and towels were not cleaned before arriving. Location is in walking distance of downtown and easy to get to all our activities. Also really enjoyed the patios and available parking in the back.

Lovely home, perfect location for us

The property was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. We had everything we needed (extra towels, kitchen utensils and supplies, etc). Communication with owner was great. We gathered as a family to visit my nephew who is stationed at NAS. It was a quick 5min drive to the base. We loved staying here. Lots of dining options close by. The ONLY somewhat negative thing about this home was the sofa. It seemed older than the other furniture and didn't offer much in the way of comfort when sitting. It felt like it had been overused and sank way down when we sat. We did not use it as a sofa sleeper so I can't comment on its comfort as a sleeper. The couch wasn't terrible but definitely could be better. It's a big home to only have only 4 potential seating places in the living room. I'm sure everyone piles on the couch and that explains the wear. Overall, this was a very lovely property and we would love to stay here again.

Ideal location to be in the heart of everything

We chose this location because my family and I were attending the Blue Angels Air Show. The property is close proximity to the Naval Base and was lucky enough to see some of the planes fly by the property. The property is also very close to beaches, shopping and great restaurants. The property easily accommodated my party of 9. The bedrooms are really spacious and I love that all the bedrooms had separate bathrooms. The house is modern and well equipped with linen, beach items like chairs, umbrellas you name it. I'd definitely suggest this place to be in the heart of it all.
