Excellent location for a family gathering

The property is conveniently located to everything necessary for an amazing beach getaway. Our grandchildren felt right at home. We would definitely stay at this location again, if available, upon returning to the Pensacola Beach area.

Perfect Pensacola Stay

The location was perfect, close to the beach and near the trolley. The management was communicative and helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Moon Tide Cottage at Pensacola Beach

The property was just as advertised. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Restaurants and shopping were nearby and the beach was a short walk. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family.

Close to the beach and bay. Plenty of space for family of four with friends. Golf carts and trolleys are available for rides to attractions.

Had a great week at the beach!

Overall great experience. Had an issue with the grill and a new one was provided the next day. The property overall could use some updates and refreshing but it was clean and everything was in working order.

Great Stay

Myself and 7 of my best friends stayed here for the weekend. We had a blast and the facilities were great! We spent a lot of the time in the pool and in the hot tub just catching up from the year. My friends really enjoyed having the paddle boat and the kayak available for time in the water. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable! I recommend if you are looking for a place!

The property was in a great location, just across the street from the beach and walking distance from the bay but unfortunately was very dirty and very run down. It was clear it had not been cleaned, our feet were black the first night after walking barefoot. There was broken glass outside under the patio, trash found on the patio. We did ask for a partial refund, but were told the cleaners could come back to clean instead, which was not convenient considering we had a pet staying at the property with us. Over all the property itself didn’t meet the overall standard that it should. The doors were falling apart (the storm door literally broke off and wouldn’t shut as we checked out), the bedroom doors had massive holes that had been spackled over and unfinished, and stains were on some of the furniture. There was also a cracked window. If you have kids, don’t stay here. But I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone for that matter.

Overall decent but some maintenance/updates could make huge impact. Even though we had to cross street for beach, it was convenient. One bedroom listed as queen bed when it was a full size. Twin bedroom closet was full of owner’s belongings so had no place for luggage etc

Deceiving outdated listing pictures

The reason they call this place “moon tide cottage” is because it’s best viewed in the dark. Outside poorly maintained and run down. Listing pictures must be from 20 years ago. Inside is livable temporarily. Appliances old and most did not work especially dryer. Would not recommend.

The staff at PBR are great. Attentive service for toilet repair and accommodating for our group. As for the rental, it’s very dated. It could have been cleaned better. Shower flooring was dirty with unknown substance. A little bleach spray and it cleaned right up. Several dead bugs located throughout the property, but we didn’t see any crawlers. The coffee pot looked new, but was not used due to a dead bug in the bottom of it. We used very little in the kitchen; cleaned and bleached any item prior to use. We were on the go most of the vacation and ate elsewhere. Bedding and towels were clean which was fabulous. The front deck was nice for sitting outside. Place could use lots of TLC and be charming. As for a place to sleep, shower, and stay cool…the rental provided.

Cozy, but smaller than I’m used to.

Clean place with a safe location. A solid 30 min walk to restaurant area. Not a very spacious place like the more modern condos, so privacy is limited. But overall it was a good value and a fun stay.

Nice cottage close to the beach

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the sofa in the living room was a little uncomfortable, but it was a perfect spot for a family getaway. The only issue we had was the dryer, which we didn’t realize wasn’t working til our last day. The driveway was huge, could easily fit several cars. The beach access was just like two blocks down, the kids loved it.

It was okay

There were a few inconveniences...only one roll of toilet paper for the entire house, had to call to get the lockbox code (although, the office was friendly and helpful everytime we called). There was also a blood stain on one of the sheets. Just seems like something that should be totally cleaned or replaced. If anyone is looking for the wifi password, it's on the fridge. This took us an embarrassingly long time to notice, we were looking on the back of the modem.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We was ok with it. The inside was clean. The outside looked like ****. I would at least pull the weeds as mow. Looks abandoned on the outside. Other than that it’s ok.
