Amazingly convenient rooms. Had unexpected amenities. The kitchen was easy to use and took up less space than I had imagined - didn’t notice it at all while relaxing in the room. And so so quiet! We never heard anyone coming or going. The only down side was that I would rather have paid extra for better coffee choices.

We loved our stay. Nice newly renovated motel (not really a hotel). However, the kitchen utensils were a little ridiculous. There was one spatula but there were pots in addition to a frying pan. You can’t stir a pot of, say, pasta, with a spatula or serve soup with a spatula either!

One of the best places I have stayed on the island. The staff is truly amazing, helpful, courteous. They are right on the beach for any paddling activity you might like and right next to the popular Parksville community promenade.

Wow!! This just may be the nicest place we have ever stayed at! Great location…close to restaurants, right on the beach. Very clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Oh…and free mini golf, (a short walk past the McDonalds), with two 18 hole courses…great fun. Super nice staff, very welcoming. An overall 14 stars out of a possible 10. The property is recently and tastefully renovated. It sits on a large, well appointed piece of land and has direct access to the beach and the Parksville walkway. It is ideal for families with young children and people with walking limitations. It is marketed as a family owned business but it isn't family operated and there is a lack of attention to details. The service is courteous but impersonal. The maintenance is poor: our night lamp needed recharging, the TV remote batteries were dead and one bath towel was soiled. Outside, the irrigation system started at random times in the day, soaking the unsuspecting users. One BBQ and one gas firepit were out of order. Despite these shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay very much due to the perfect location, the family friendly atmosphere and the overall cleanliness of the place. We would go back and recommend it to friends and family.
