It is about 30 min walk to Tour de Eiffel and 20 min to Notre Damme. Next to the hotel there is a nice street with shops and restaurants, And many more at walking distance. It is also very close to a train station that goes to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The hotel is clean and quite.

I loved my stay at Villa Montparnasse. My room had a wonderful view over the Cimetiere Montparnasse, Montparnasse Tower and - from the balcony - Eiffel Tower. The staff are very friendly and highly professional. I felt very welcomed and very comfortable there. The location is terrific - very close to the major station of Denfert-Rochereau and charming Rue Daguerre. Only (minor) faults are that the room is fairly dark at night (just two small bedside lamps) and very few electric outlets. Those, however, would not dissuade me from making this hotel my first choice the next time I go to Paris.

I have stayed at many hotels in many districts of Paris but never felt comfortable until I stayed at V. Montparnasse. The staff: Theodore, Nicolai, Tamara, and Pau are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. RER, metro lines4,6 take me to areas I enjoy. Rue Daguerre offers many food choices and several patisseries are nearby. Hopefully I will continue by bi-annual visits.

Stayed here during my birthday vacation. Every staff member from the front desk to the cleaning crew were polite, friendly and helpful. For a room in an old Parisian building, the room was surprisingly spacious. The WiFi was speedy and the tv adequate for my needs. I spend most of my Paris time away from my hotel. Whenever I needed assistance, the staff was not only able but willing to help. I will stay here again. Just off Denfert-Rochereau station so right on RER B that serves both major airports (CDG and Orly)

From the outset the staff were approachable, speaking English, friendly and helpful with smiling faces, very welcoming. Room 716 on the floor, beautiful view of the city and the large graveyard across the road (may sound dreary but its nice looking). Room, or I should say villa, had two showers and sink areas, a living room area with sofa and of course the bedroom. Bed quite big and very comfy. All lovely and chić very cosy and mostly quite clean, two wardrobes too for all our cloves. All amenities provided were appreciated. Huge tv in the bedroom, we didn't find it that useful however if you have a Samsung phone you can connect to mirror on your phone to watch say, Netflix. The tv is smart but we couldn't get the internet to work on it but we wanted to watch Netflix (stranger things) when we came back home so my only suggestion (not even a complaint) would be to install Netflix on the tv or even connect it to the wifi to allow English viewing of tv. Breakfast: in my opinion and wide selection of food. Croissaints and pastries, bread and baguettes, cereals, scrambled eggs, ham/bacon slices and mushrooms, yoghurts and Jams. Plenty of variety to make various breakfasts. We enjoyed breakfast both days. Open until 10:30. Plenty of juices and hot drinks. Nice dining area, although underground. We thought it was very well located a few minutes walk from the metro and the catacombes (first on our list to visit). Plenty of bars, cafes, restraunts and a supermarket shop all nearby, even a McDonald's if that's your thing. Very close to the very useful metro too. Additionally, on the last day my partner dropped her precious Tiffany co bracelet down the sink, the staff from the onset were extremely helpful in saying they would block of the room and took our details and would get the maintenance guy to have a look as soon as he is in on the Tuesday, (this is on the Sunday) and would post it to us in England. We spent our last day at the Louvre with it on the back of our minds it may be lost forever. We came back and Tamara (lady on front desk usually in the day) who had helped us in the first place explained with a suprise that the manager has in fact managed to get it out from the pipes. Clearly she had appreciated our concern and made this a top priority. We are extremely thankful. Nikola also was very friendly and talking to us about ourselves and himself. All staff from breakfast, to maids, to night and day staff were all helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay greatly, would reccomend and come back.

Brilliant location. 2 mins from the metro (which the RER train to CDG & Orly airports run to and from. Great restaurants, bars and grocers around the corner. Beer is expensive but visit the rendezvous cafe opposit the iIndiana restaurant outside the metro entrance and it's happy hour on beers and cocktails 4.30 till late every day including weekends. Rooms not huge but clean and functional and breakfast if chosen is very good. Staff are extremely helpful and reception staff all spoke excellent English. Would recommend this hotel and stay again if visiting.

I am the (C.P.O.) Chief Plucky Officer of the Portland, Oregon based Plucky Maidens. For the last five years, it has been our pleasure to book this charming and historic hotel for our twice yearly flea market shopping tours of Paris. The building is lovely and the location is perfect...around the corner from an open air, pedestrian only market street with many shops and cafes. Also adjacent to the beautiful Montparnasse Cemetery, close to multiple bus lines and the Denfert Rochereau metro station. The rooms are clean, well appointed and have delightful views. The on-site breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Most of all, the staff at the hotel is OUTSTANDING! Friendly, helpful and available 24 hours a day. Pam Knecht Plucky Maidens

I will start by saying this was my best hotel experience ever! After flying overnight from Vancouver Canada, we literally bumbled thru the front door. And there to greet us was Concierge Nikola and his staff. Guessing by the time we arrived, they greeted us by name, and from that moment on, we were family. Every member of the small staff, front desk, breakfast room, housekeeping and maintenance treated us like royalty. I cannot say enough about these wonderful people. The Hotel...it's a small, tiny even by North American standards, old boutique style, filled with antiques. The rooms are small, again by North American standards, but oh so lovely and spotless. The linens and towels were high quality, the beds too. We were on the 6th floor, with French doors to a balcony with a view to the neighbourhood. It had a small, well stocked fridge hidden away in an antique dresser. There was a seating area and bar in the lobby. Breakfast was served in a cafe downstairs from 7 - 10 every morning. I noted that some people felt it wasn't much, we felt it was perfect. They had scrambled eggs, ham etc., plus an array of yogurt, cereal, cheeses and meats. And of course lots of French breakfast pastries. What more could we want?! The staff was also more than happy to fix a tray of cafe au lait for our room. We popped down for pickup in our PJ's! The neighbourhood shops and cafes were a whole street, walking only, less than a block away. Exactly as you would imagine a small village to be. The hotel was so well located, a 7 minute cab ride or a 40 minute walk, to the centre of the City. Our cab to and from the airport was 70 Euros, it's a standard flat fee. You can also use Uber or bus service. Both the bus and Metro are a short block away from the hotel. We found both to be very easy to navigate. A smile and a simple 'Bonjour' got you all the help you could need. Each room came with a preloaded smart phone with all the information you could need. It was free, for our use inside and outside of the hotel, including phone calls. It was like having our own tour guide in our pocket. I could prattle on, but I will end by saying if I am ever lucky enough to return to Paris, I won't even look for other hotels. It's back to Villa Montparnasse for me. Thank you so much Nikola and the staff, you made our stay perfect and worry free. From the Plucky Ladies in 601 😎

I was stayng in a standard double room. The room wasn't huge, but it was very comfortable. I had a nice wardrobe, with a decent number of hangers, a very comfortable double bed, a nice desk, a chair . a bench to sit at the bottom of the bed,and a lovely balcony overlooking a nice boulevard and Montparnasse cemetery(by the way, Baudelaire and Man Ray are buried there..,) plus from there I had a nice glimpse of the Eiffel tower-beautiful at night when it's all lit up.The air conditioning was working properly ( a blessing considering that Paris was extremely hot when I stayed). The hotel is not of the super-modern-trendy type, but it is lovely and well kept. The ony problem was the lack of drawers in the wardrobe. The bathroom was not huge again, but with all the comforts I needed. The wifi was working ok for all the time of my stay in the hotel. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff kept my room and bathroom nice and spotless. The area is lovely, bustling with life: a nice outdoor market, bistrots ,cafes, restaurants and little shops especially in the nearby rue Daguerre. It's always very close to rer b train station denfert rocherau(about 8 min. walk)-direct line from cdg airport- and metro line 4 denfert rocherau station (about 5 min. walk).I am definitely going to book my next trip to Paris in this lovely hotel. Forgotten to mention, it's not too expensive, even for Paris standards!

They give a cell for each Room with internet and Free calls, that's really good! The only thing that let me disappointed was the breakfast that has not many things to eat. The recepcionists were really Nice and give good tips, except of one girl that we asked for a taxi to the airport and she called some transportation service that charged us 60 euros to Go to the airport and the real price is 35 euro.
