A charming boutique hotel at a location that allows convenient and easy access to Palais Garnier and two major department stores. The room was well decorated and tidy; but it was compact in size, which is rather normal in Paris. The staff was very kind.
Good location in relation to popular tourist attractions. There’s is the back entrance to The Olympia theatre where music fans hang out until late night in the streets and it can get loud. The staff is very professional and friendly, the superior room is small (no place to put your luggage if there is two people staying in the room except in the middle of floor). The decor of the hotel is opera themed and decorated in deep reds and golds, it has a classic Parisian feel. The walls are kind of thin and you can hear housekeeping banging around in adjacent rooms and people going up down steps.
The staff was amazing, the decor was impressive, and the bed was super comfortable! The wifi wasn't great, and one of the doors was hard to work, but overall an incredible hotel.
Staff was particularly friendly and attentive during our stay.
Hotel Athenee is beautifully de orates and appointed. The staff were so attentive and helpful. The quiet, low key elegance of service provides a haven that is restful. The rooms are very tiny, difficult for placing luggage but the rooms are elegant and comfortable , even so. The staff is so professional and helpful and welcoming, we loved our stay.
Staff very accommodating, room was very small but very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Centrally located. Room I stayed in was perfect for a single traveller or couple but would not have been suitable for children/families due to it's size.
It's got decor, but the building is too old. It's OK if you haven't got choice.
This hotel is small and does the trick -- don't expect frills
The location was outstanding, near major sights and several mass transit lines. The staff was unbeatable, friendly and anxious to help in every way. We will definately stay at the Athenee Hotel again when we return to Paris.
I had some problems with my reservation, and the staff went out of their way to help me. Wonderful people, and a beautiful little find.
I had an unexpected addition to my traveling party, and the hotel was simply unable to accommodate the simple request for either a larger room or a roll-away bed. Not really their fault, but this is what can happen when you stay at a small boutique hotel. Flexibility is not one of their virtues.
The location is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good quality and value. The only issue is that it is tiny. Bed, furniture and decorations are high quality, tasteful and comfortable. Rooms are tiny.
Overall a wonderful experience. Great location, discrete, spotless, quiet with a truly wonderful staff. Easy access to anything. The only drawback was the size of the room, which was very cramped. However, if you travel alone in European cities you do get used to getting the cubbyholes. Really can't say enough good things about my stay.
Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Room size was comparable to other places I've stayed in Paris. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again. Convenient to metro, restaurants, and roissybus.
It was everything that I expected it to be. Very Parisian. Will definitely stay again. The hotel was in walking distance to everything I needed. Staff was very helpful.
The location is just between Madeleine and the opera with numerous restaurants nearby. The building was completely gutted and rebuilt in 2011 and the decorating is fabulous. The bed and mattress are worthy of the Ritz Carlton and the bathroom and shower are wonderful. Top quality fixtures and finish. Superb staff: Florio and Jennifer are so helpful you will feel guilty! Only 16 rooms and you will feel like you are a guest in a mansion. Best of all - ridiculously low pricing.
