From the minute you arrive on property the service is spectacular. English is spoken by all the staff and they were so welcoming. The views were terrific. Breakfast on our terrace each morning amazing!! The perfect place to stay to see the city!!

What a stay in Paris with Eiffel view. It is such a romantic to stay in this 5 stars hotel. Every staffs try to make the stay so special. I feel very warm welcome. The room has nothing to beat. I can come back everytime I stay in Paris.

Without a doubt the most romantic and amazing view from any hotel in which we have stayed. My husband booked an Eiffel Tower Terrace View Room (pricy but, if you're going to Paris for romance and lasting memories, 100% worth it!) and even after viewing the spectacular hotel photos, the room exceeded our expectations. The view was simply breath-taking. We stayed in the private terrace room with the closest view of the Eiffel Tower (highly recommend requesting). The Eiffel Tower view was from every location in the room....our bed, the love seat, the changing room, the bathroom with a big tub...and best of all....up our private staircase and out the door on our large, private terrace. We enjoyed the Eiffel Tower with our breakfast (on the terrace) and with champagne on the terrace at night. At night, on each hour, the Eiffel Tower lights up with an amazing, white "Christmas Light" display...it's simply spectacular. The service was fantastic and the hotel is within walking distance or a short ride to shopping and sights (no need to rent a car...Uber, Lyft and taxis are easy to get)...plenty of outdoor cafes...beautiful neighborhood....everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. No worry if you do not speak French, everyone was more than happy to speak in English. Champagne and a bowl of fruit & pastries were complementary and waiting in our room.

The rooms are impeccable. On what other Hotel could you possibly have such magnificent panorama looking at the Eifferl Tower from your room or from your private terrace ? The quality of the rooms. The quality of the staff is on the very top level ! Moore than you could expect.

We had dinner at the main restaurant and it was a great experience! - great service - great food (tasty and good choice "a la carte") and drink selection - we were on the first floor and had a nice view inside the restaurant - Decoration is a not super modern - I've been to some restaurants in Paris with the same quality of food and less expensive

Our third stay here and what a great one again! Its very nice to see familiar faces taking pride in the service they are providing while remembering every little preference and our names. Truly amazing! Come here for the service, the view is just a very nice extra....

My boyfriend surprised me with a stay here on the way back from our summer holiday. It has been a dream of mine to stay at Shangri La Paris and I genuinely couldn’t believe we were staying there even when we pulled up outside! From start to finish of the stay we were treated like royalty. When we arrived, we were taken to the most beautiful reception room to check in and greeted by the loveliest staff - we were told all about the hotel and where things were and offered a drink while we waited as our bags were taken to our room. When we got to our room, I was so overwhelmed I cried! It was by far the most outstanding room I have ever seen. The suite had two floors: the bottom floor had a walk in wardrobe area, a huge room with amazing Eiffel Tower views from the window and a big comfortable bed, a bathroom with more spectacular views of the tower, robes and a TV in the mirror! there was also a chilled bottle of champagne for us with fruit to add. We were shortly joined by a lovely lady who brought jasmine tea to the room which we both enjoyed. It was little touches like this that really made this hotel incredible. On the second floor there was a balcony with two deck chairs, two beds and a table and the famous view of the tower. Pictures do it no justice. On the evening we went down to the bar for a drink before I believed we were going out to dinner. My boyfriend then asked if I wanted to go back to the room for a drink before we left for dinner. When we got to our room Abdul was waiting for us - our waiter for the in room dining surprise my boyfriend had planned for us. He had set everything up so beautifully: the room was decorated with candles and rose petals and when I went to the terrace, I found the table set for dinner with candles and roses covering the balcony. It was beautiful. The dinner was gorgeous (lots of amazing Chinese food!) and Abdul was fantastic throughout the whole meal. When the tower began twinkling, Abdul offered to take a photo of us both. Little did I know this had been planned and my now fiancé was proposing to me. Abdul filmed all of this for us - this is something I will be forever grateful to them both for as it is the most precious memory. I honestly can’t put in to words how incredible this experience was and despite all of the thought, care and kindness my fiancé put in to planning this night, he said it could not have been possible without the cooperation of the hotel. You have helped make all of my dreams come true. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you a thousand times.

I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel with my partner during the first weekend of September. We came to Paris to celebrate our anniversary, which is why we decided to stay at the Shangri-La. What I enjoyed the most about our stay, was that feeling of coziness that we had during the whole weekend: other hotels in Paris are bigger, and therefore host more guests, while at the SLH - since it's a little smaller then others - there is always someone available to help you, no matter what. Was our stay perfect? No, it was not. We had issues with the room service and our room (I ended up locked in the bathroom for a good 10 minutes, among other experiences). But I am still giving 5 stars, because - while accidents can happen - what I really care about is the way the staff of the hotel deals with customers in these situations. People make mistake, and a 5 stars hotel's employees are still humans, no matter how many stars the hotel has. What I really appreciated, is the way the staff addressed the issues and listened to our complaints and consequently treated us. I'd like to thank the whole staff, particularly the amazing barman who got me happily tipsy every evening thanks to his amazing Cosmopolitans, and the lovely duty manager Julie Maubert, who took the time to listen to our feedback.

After ten days in the south of France vacationing thought we'd splurge for one night in Paris at the Shangri-La with an Eiffel Tower view room. One caveat, not all Eiffel Tower view rooms are the same, so the picture you see on the website is not necessarily the one you get so inquire first if you can (one had a staircase to a private rooftop patio). Extremely nice hotel as you would imagine, but their training of staff is out of this world. Every encounter with a member of the staff was better than the previous one whether it was check in, concierge (who ran out on a Sunday night to the only open wine shop in the area to buy me a gift bottle of wine I needed), room service, restaurant, a random staff member in the hall, or check out. So formal yet so unpretentious at the same time, truly a work of service art. Had dinner at Shang Palace at it was incredible (I've dined at some of the finest so have a critical palate). Yes, the Cantonese dinner we had in Paris was the best meal we had in 10 days in France, sorry French cuisine, but it is what it is. Special shout out to sommelier Romain Crozat at Shang Palace - arguably the most knowledgeable and pleasant somm I've come across in 30 years of fine dining. I mean, really incredible in depth knowledge and knows just the wine and price point to hit your mark. Funny thing about the Shangri-la is we didn't want to leave the hotel to see Paris (ok, we've seen Paris before and did run over to Museum d'Orsay, but hurried back to the hotel). Spa / pool looked phenomenal but ran out of time. With service, restaurants and a view and room like that, best money I've ever spent and won't hesitate to do it again.

The place where you can enjoy every detail! Location is quite and convenient, there’s no Parish noise in the center of the city (comparing with Grand Hotel Intercontinental near Opera). Staff is perfect, friendly and very professional. Shangri-La is our ideal “homestyle” hotel all over the world.
