We recently returned home from my 60th Bday trip and the Shangri-La was our first stop for four of the seven fabulous nights in Paris! We had a Terrace View Room since I've been wanting to come to Paris since I was 11 and my 6th grade teacher taught us French. Enough on my pity party it was so worth the wait!! ( And my husband love it too-phew!!) From the moment Roman met us at our car and immediately took us to our gorgeous room and until the end of our stay we were treated like royalty. Elegantly appointed, our room was perfect and had the absolute best view of the Eiffel Tower. It shimmers on the hour starting at 9pm until I think midnight, but I never made it that late. Obviously nighttime was a more spectacular but we sat on our terrace during the day when time allowed. The concierge staff is top notch. I communicated with several of them while planning before we arrived. Anthony, Marie Charlotte and Julien were outstanding as well as their co-workers. The emails were always answered promptly. We had the VIP Airport Transfer upon arrival. A greeter meets you as you deplane with a sign-whisks you through passport control, fast track customs service, gets your luggage and takes you to the Mercede E Class. Worth every penny if you ask me. 275E. They also offer a simple airport transfer for 150E if you don't need a babysitting service like us... They planned a trip to Versailles for us with a private driver one day and another to Veuve Clicquot cellars-both magnificent. The guides were very knowledgeable and so pleasant to be around. Plus, the charge can go to your room so you don't have to worry about several transactions. They also had the 2-Day Museum pass waiting for us at their desk which I had requested. Just great service . I had many restaurants in mind before we came which included La Fontaine de Mars, Le Coq Rico, Josephine Chez Dumonet and Le Deux Magots. They suggested Chez Monsieur and Le Petit Retro--all wonderful choices but I'm not going to go into detail or this will be too long....... Incredible hotel, incredible staff, incredible city!!

We have been blessed to stay at many opulent, great service 5 star hotels around the world (including the Shangri-La in Sydney), but the customer service at Shangri-La Paris is a step above the rest - deserves 6 stars just for this!! Julien and his front staff made us feel like Royalty every time we entered/left hotel - it was like our own personal palace. We saw them treating all guests this same way. I just don't know how they do it - very highly trained. It is a gorgeous, opulent hotel but not over the top - just perfect! They have security but yet you feel very comfortable and never looked down upon. No question for the concierge was ever a bother - they were great as was the bellmen/door staff. We had a terrace Eiffel Tower view which was great as we were celebrating some special occasions. The hotel was also great pre-arrival about responding to emails. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel in Paris, best views, and the VERY BEST customer service - then look no further than Shangri-La Paris! Truly a once in a lifetime hotel and destination!!!! 3 staff members walked us out upon check out and waved to us goodbye while we were driving away - made me tear up, the nicest send off ever - felt like family!!!!

We were extremely happy with our stay, right from the beginning where we were met with the utmost professionalism and kindness from Julien Perello and the staff at Shangri-La. A great thank you to Julien and the entire team for going above and beyond to make our honeymoon and my birthday an unforgettable experience in Paris. We are truly grateful for the beautiful room you arranged for us and for all the special gifts throughout our stay, just perfect! Your customer service was exceptional and so was the hospitality at Shangri-La. You have given us some of the most precious memories we will have together in the beautiful and romantic Paris and for that we will always be grateful. We will highly recommend the Shangri-La Palace to all of our family and friends and importantly the future guests of the Shangri-La. We can only share great things about the amazing palace. We really did feel like a guest of the Prince :) Thank you again for everything you've done for us to make our stay a memorable one. An incredibly impressive venue staffed by an incredible team of professionals - nothing is out of their reach.We enjoyed the Terrace Suite room with views of the Eiffel Tower and it was spectacular. Julie Maubert (Duty Manager) took care of every single detail for us - reservations at Michelin Star restaurants and private bars (Le Bar - WOW!) to name a few. This is five star hospitality at its finest!

A long flight is usually tiring. I arrived very early in the morning in this trip to Paris, and it was only 8:30am when I arrived at the hotel. Obviously, it was not a good time to check-in. Most of the time, the only we can do is to leave the luggage and come back, but I did need a place to change, to shower for the coming conference at 10:00am. The staff was so thoughtful that they helped me with my luggage to the spa and let me gloom over there. The wonder view from the room was definitely the reason I love the hotel, but the nice and thoughtful staff was the reason I miss this hotel!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel that resembled a true Parisian condo. The staff was professional and elegant, very Parisian. Our room had the deck that we could take gorgeous pics of the Eiffel Tower and eat on daily. We are Gold Circle Members, which is easy to do, so this allowed us access to the nicer rooms. They were accommodating to our teenagers too, in two separate rooms of their own. The downside is that it was an older hotel, with smaller rooms for the price, which is probably typical for Paris. Also, a downfall was hailing a cab from the hotel was difficult for the valet. Room service was fantastic. Concierge was fantastic too. The security personnel were not so friendly and need some training on how to speak to guests.You can’t beat walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triomphe, shopping areas, and restaurants. Very convenient. For American families with small children, we recommend the Four Seasons though. But, overall, we loved this elegant, truly Parisian hotel and chain!

We were on our way back home from Italy to San Francisco and decided to stop in Paris for few days. First time on a Shangri-La hotel and we were never disappointed. We recommend this to all visitor that want the best customer service from an hotel facility.

It is the best hotel in the world ever, the concierge team are wonderful I'm traveling all over the world but the experience I had ever in my life its more than the VVIP services, Julian and his colleagues were more than wonderful

My husband and I and our daughter stayed here at the end of a two month European vacation to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We have been to Paris many times and there are many wonderful hotels which we have seen or stayed in over a number of years. The Shangri-La however exceeded all our expectations. First, the room. We stayed in an Eiffel Tower duplex suite. It was an upgrade. European vacations are sometimes full of views of things which turn out to be glimpses. If you stay in a Eiffel Tower view room at Shangri-La what you see straight in front of you is the Eiffel Tower night and day. Lit up in the evening and flashing on and off late, the aspect was superb. I know of no hotel with a better view of the Eiffel Tower than Shangri-La. The room was beautifully presented paying careful attention to the hoteliers’ Asian heritage. Our room was done out in muted yellow/gold. The facilities were of the finest standard. The food was also superb. I could live on the chicken congee with condiments for breakfast for a very long time. But what stands out the most at the Shangri-La is the wonderful staff. The service is not only prompt and courteous but you feel very much at home and at ease anywhere that you go in the hotel. We had a truly memorable stay and will return again the next time we are in Paris.

First - Thank you Julie! You are an amazing concierge from The Shangri-La Hotel Paris. The manager should please know how amazing you made our stay. I made a reservation to stay at this lovely hotel for the last night of a 10 day trip through Paris, the Loire Valley and Reims. My sweetheart and I had been touring France and wanted to relax in luxury after a wonderful stay in France. From the moment we checked in, the hotel staff pampered us and greeted us with Champagne. We relaxed at the beautiful indoor pool and spa. When we entered our room, we were both stunned with the elegance and luxurious suite that had our our private terrace with a picture perfect view of the Eiffel Tower! I knew it had a good view from online pics, but we were both awestruck at the view in person. I had also made reservations for the hotel rooftop bar, but my girlfriend (now fiancée!) was so impressed with the room and private terrace she insisted I cancel the rooftop bar reservation and that we stay right in our own room with Eiffel Tower view terrace and enjoy this experience for our last night in Paris. I had been thinking about "asking the big question" throughout our romantic journey in France, but hadn't yet. I was even contemplating waiting until we were back in the U.S., but Honestly I was so blown away by the perfect environment at the Shangri-La Paris, I ordered some appetizers and told my girlfriend to relax and I dashed for a cab and ended up finding the perfect engagement ring in Paris. As I snuck out of the room, I stopped by and met the hotel concierge Julie and told her my plan. I was in a panic and explained that I needed 18 red roses, romantic music, bottle of Dom, and a person to take a few pics while I raced to pick up a ring from a Paris jeweler. She sat me down in a lobby lounge and calmly listened to my request. While I raced in a cab to get the ring, Julie quickly assembled a hotel team to obtain the roses, romantic music, rose pedal turn down service, candles, champagne and dessert in perfect time to surprise my girlfriend 5 minutes before 10 pm - the time the Eiffel Tower lights flicker. She even texted my cell phone to assure me she had the surprise elements assembled as I frantically raced back via cab from the jewelers to the hotel. The team was ready right on time outside my suite with all the accouterments for my surprise engagement. Wow - they nailed it and had everything quietly set up while my girlfriend was distracted while waiting to film the glittering lights of the Eiffel Tower. The staff was amazing and they even filmed a video and took engagement pictures of this magical moment. Thank you Julie and Shangri-La staff for making our engagement so amazing! You all did a fantastic job and the hotel service was beyond our wildest expectations. We will never forget this magical place in Paris and hope to return soon for an anniversary trip. Room 306. What a great job and I'm so glad I booked this hotel for the last night of our trip in Paris. Truly unforgettable! I highly recommend this hotel for any romantic special even. THANK YOU!!!
