We stayed here for a night before our trip to Disneyland Paris, it is a great location for visiting Disneyland and has plenty of facilities and restaurants as well as shops and a shopping centre, the train station is a short walk away and the stop is one stop away from Disneyland, there are cooking facilities in the room with a fridge freezer and a room safe the room wasn’t quite as big as expected but was relatively clean, I’d stay here again if visiting Disney as it’s well located and convenient especially as there are the shops and restaurants including a supermarket and a mini market, the area is full of families visiting Disney so has a relaxed feel about it, you can also hop on the train for a trip into Paris with relative ease
We stayed here for 3 nights to visit the Disney parks. Yes, the place is pretty run down... we couldn’t have a shower without the water getting all over the floor, and the furnishings are pretty old. But we did enjoy having a kitchenette in our room, including a mini fridge and a kettle. It’s a short, 5 min walk to the train station which is then 1 stop to Disney. Or you can walk for 20-30min. We did opt to the do walk some nights because the Disney crowds getting onto the trains were a bit intense. Unfortunately the days we were there was quite hot, but there’s no fan or air con in the room (just a radiator with a broken climate control dial by the front door). We couldn’t have our window open because it looked out onto the front square where people were meeting / talking loudly at all hours while having a smoke. Overall, it’s pretty much what I was expecting for something so cheap close to a Disney park. We’ve stayed at similar hotels close to Disney in the USA and this was DEFINITELY better.
Awful hotel, machine to check in didn’t work so were left outside in the rain talking to unhelpful staff. Finally got to the room which resembled a property in a sink council estate, see photos,do not stay here!!! 0 stars
Rive Gauche is 5 minutes walk from RER A station Val d'Europe. From this station the train takes you to Disneyland Paris is 4 minutes. The reception ladies are nice and very helpful. However, they seem to have outdated PCs so some of their tasks take longer time than expected. The room we got had a separate bedroom, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a living room with a sofa bed. The beds were good and so was the sofa bed. The kitchen had the necessary equipment and a good fridge. There was a large double cabinet. There was a safe in the cabinet, which could be hired for an extra cost. There is no air condition in the rooms. This can definitely be a problem on warm days. There is no cleaning of the rooms while you stay there. The cleaning when we arrived was not the most impressive I have seen. Both the bathroom and the cabinet doors could have been cleaner. The wi-fi was very variable. Sometimes it worked ok and other times you had to go down to the reception area to have any internet connection at all. The equipment is probably outdated.
The location of the hotel is superb. A two minute walk to a huge shopping center full of every shop you can imagine from Primark to Gucci. Bars and restaurants a plenty. Free shuttle to Eurodisney too. The problem was the room. Advertised was a smart apartment but the reality was a small and worn out room with cupboard doors all hanging off and not movable. No plug in the bath. Shower just a trickle of water. It was 30 degrees the day we stayed and the room didn’t even have a fan. It was unbearable. Also the safe was locked and could not be opened. No staff after 7pm so no one to talk to about the unbearable heat. Would not stay again unless the rooms were upgraded.
I would start by saying this place is perfectly okay. Beds are located in a separate room which differentiates this place from the basic HiPark room. In great location close to the train station, which makes it an easy ride to disney or paris. The rooms are very basic. With Auchan located close by and a fridge in the room, there is opportunity to cook your own meals. A quick look at the bathroom fan found many spiders and the tiles in the living area were in need of a good bleach. Check in is fairly easy although upon asking for a second key we were denied. I'm not convinced I would stay here again, rather look at one of the other hotels.
The apparthotel is well situated and cosy. 5 min walk from the main bus/train station Val d'Europe. By train it is only one station from Disney, near a shopping center. I recommend it and when i go back I would book here again.
We must be upgraded as we only booked double room but got lovely apartment with double bedroom and living room/kitchen area, balcony and a bath! Its 5 minutes walk from metro, and 20-25 minutes walk from Disneyland, which we came here for. You have shopping center 5 minutes away with supermarket which you can buy all the food from. Check in process after office hours was pretty easy and quick. You just put all your details in and key card is being issued. We paid decent money comparing to Disneyland's hotels prices which are ridiculous. You can get RER-A train from the city center and it takes around 45 minutes. We liked it all although you can see age of the hotel when you look closer, chipped paint, cracked tiles etc but it didn't spoiled our stay at all and i would recommend this apart-hotel to anyone.
Pros: - The hotel is near to the main train station - Val D'Europe (5 - 10mins walk). You can go to Disneyland from this station (1 station away). The Disneyland station is Marne La Vallee Chessy). - The hotel is also 5 mins walk to the shopping mall (Val D'Europe) & La Vallee Factory Outlet for designer goods. - There is a kitchenette in the studio room which is good. Breakfast was pretty basic but good ie pastries, cereals and toasts. - The staffs was friendly and helpful.
This hotel provides all the basics you'd expect. Very helpful front desk staff (who helped us understand the complicated parking rules) and a clean and well equipped room. Very close to the train station and also right by a free bus to the Disney parks.
