Stayed at the Opera Cadet for 5 nights. Lovely Hotel. Room not huge but spotless. Cleaned daily, fresh towels daily. Room was warm in the night but windows open gave it a nice breeze. Good breakfast with hot choice if wanted. Staff very helpful. Mike on reception was brilliant when we thought we may not get home as Air France went on strike. Hotel really good location 20 min walk from Gard du Nord. Plenty of restaurants etc close by. Loved the area. Would recommend 100% if you visiting Paris
All of the staff was friendly. Roman at the front desk was especially nice and helpful. Pictures people have posted of the neighborhood dont do it it justice. Parisian style sit down breakfast buffet was light and delicious. Quiet and clean. The location was the real highlight. Except Versailles, all of the tourist spots are within walking distance. We walked over 90 miles in 10 days and took a can twice when we had walked too far, drank too much and were just plain tired :) Best area to travel to when leaving hotel is LEFT out the front door......then just follow your nose and instincts. Check my other posts for restaurant recommendations. We love Paris :)

The hotel was so clean great housekeeping. Our room overlooking the front of hotel had really comfy bed and good to have tea and coffee in room. There is a safe in your room for valuables and fridge with mini bar.TV had bbc 1 bbc 2 itv 1 and 2 which was good. The bathroom had bath with shower with good water pressure and soap bubble bath and shampoo..Good breakfast with lots of choice fruit cheese scrambled eggs boiled eggs meats cereals yogurts and lovely bread and fab pastries. So enjoyed our stay the staff are fab especially reception really helpful. They have computer in reception you can use also sell everything you might need like plugs adaptors train and bus and metro tickets. The location of this hotel is so good and nice safe area with lots to do we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
We had a good time at this hotel, it was nice and cozy. Across the street there was a train station that got us anywhere we wanted to go see. We had about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the opera where where caught the hop on hop off bus. The breakfast was modest but good, it kept us full for most of the day. Lots of small restaurants around but if your thing is fatty food there is a McDonald's across the street next to the train station.
My husband I went to Paris for the first time to celebrate our Anniversary. We didn't know what to expect, but I booked the hotel based on previous reviews from other travelers. I was a little hesitant being our first time in Paris, but oh boy! I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel exceed our expectations. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Especially, Ramon at the front who was very helpful in giving us pointers of how to go about the Metro. We also enjoyed our time at the bar talking to Jacques. Excellent experience and good location. We will definitely come back with our kids next time we come to Paris.
Loved the location the garden and the breakfast. The room was good even for three teenagers and one adult. The bead was comfy. The staff at breakfast seemed to be a bit stressed. Close to Montmartre and lots of restaurants around here
This isn't a luxury hotel, but it's really a terrific find for a couple or family. Nice, pristine rooms, truly excellent staff, small bar onsite and an unbelievably good breakfast that is included. It's mere steps from the Metro No. 7 line, and right across from a bakery. What more could one want in Paris. Loved our stay there and would definitely come back.
We had a fantastic stay at this particular hotel. It is in a quiet little side street and in a great area of Paris. Easy access to the metro and walking distance to many top attractions. We purchased metro tickets in advance and had them delivered to our hotel, however, there are vending machines inside the lobby where you can purchase metro tickets. The staff members were always very lovely, and incredibly accommodating. The best part of this hotel is that it is directly across the street from a boulangerie run by an older French woman who is wonderful. We stopped in every single day (sometimes multiple times a day) and she has the best croissants and pastries. This is a wonderful place to stay, easy access to everything and yet far enough away from too much hustle and bustle. Would DEFINITELY recommend, and would stay here again upon a trip back to Paris. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Staff were very helpful and location is excellent with the sacred Coeur within walking distance! Breakfast has a good variety and is well organised. Would highly recommend to others and would stay again!
I will start this review by stating that I am a travel agent who's travelled all over the world. This was my first time in Paris. Decided to book this hotel for my group of 15 and I must say it did not disappoint. The hotel location is excellent. It's close enough to the city center. Easy access to public transportation, restaurants within walking distance. What impressed my entire group the most was the hotel staff. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly, patient and helpful. Especially Phillipe , who assisted me with questions sent through email prior to our departure. I can't sing enough praises about Phillipe. He was truly a gem. And made our Paris trip truly enjoyable with his and the entire staffs exceptional service. The breakfast at the hotel is complimentary. Basic but a great to start your day. The hotel itself is beautiful. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel. You won't regret it.
