Great location to explore Paris

It is perfectly located on a quiet street, away from all the touristy areas, with multiple metro stations nearby, allowing for quick and convenient travel throughout the city and surrounding areas. Well-located 4th floor walk-up

We stayed in this apartment in late May. The apartment is sun-lit and extremely well-located in the 14th arondissment--near restaurants, grocery stores, two bus lines and metro stops, and several bakeries. The apartment was clean and had enough space for the two of us. Although the listing states that the apartment is on the 2nd floor, it is only the entrance to the apartment that is on the 2nd floor--the kitchen and living room require ascent of a narrow spiral staircase, and the bedroom and bath require ascent up another one--making the bedroom a 4th floor walk-up. The bed itself is pushed into a corner. We did not find the concierge company to be very helpful. The company somehow failed to record receipt of our deposit, and emailed several times—both at the time of booking and 6 weeks later just before we arrived—to demand that we post another deposit. For our arrival, the designated representative grew tired of waiting for us, emailed to say he had hidden the keys near the apartment (with a photo of the location), and departed without every seeing us or giving us any detail about the operation of the apartment. Although he offered to help with any questions we had, he never responded to our request for info about missing soap or towels. We left the keys behind on departure. This was an atypically difficult VRBO rental.

An attractive apartment--with a whole lot of stairs

Reasonably nicely furnished apt in a very active and diverse neighborhood, but the number of staircases, including a narrow spiral staircase, wasn't disclosed. Washing machine leaked all over the floor. No clothes drying rack (standard in most French apartments.)
